The speakers and the media seem to be vastly overrating McCain's nonpartisan objectivity overall, but it's still a message the country needs to hear right now. If even 10% of Republicans can be moved by someone like George W. Bush's not-so-subtle rebukes on the current POTUS, that could represent a significant and long overdue shift in at udes.
