Why did Europeans conquer the World?

Europe is a hole, from a natural resource standpoint.

China and India didn't need to conquer other people with all the land and natural resources they had.

Near East did a lot of conquering, but that was mostly in Asia because Europe was a hole.

North America has great land but no animals for industrialization.

South America has llamas.

North Africa doesn't have great resources except for pocket civs like Egypt whose natural barriers kept them from moving out as much as others from moving in.

Sub-Saharan Africa had the ing Sahara keeping them from moving into the rest of the world.

To put it another way, Europe had the motive to look for places to conquer and the means to do it. For everyone else, they either lacked one of those two factors or instead conquered richer lands than Europe.

Quality argument. But I think it was more so cultural. Religion? Liberty?

I'd like to say that the big bad Euros were the only ones who could pull like cutting off hands if a native failed to reach quota or destroy all traces of a native people's history, but I don't believe that. I think people look for excuses to justify abusing others, and when those others don't look like your or speak your language, that justification gets easier. You give any people Europe's combination of resources and scarcity, and I think you'd see similar results. You don't do what they did without a different mentality for sure, but I think land shapes culture more than the average person realizes. Found the US near Mexico City instead of Virginia, and I don't think Manifest Destiny ever becomes a thing

Europeans have always been large resource consumers, Tbh. Their wants became needs, they requires to expand into places which had the resources they needed.

This pursuit of resources advanced their ability to wage war faster than other nations. The industrial revolution was the real culmination of this with colonization and making China an opiod addicted .

Tldr - euros just focused on being the bigger kid on the playground to take what they wanted.
