Poor derp
It's just not a show for guys like us.
Poor derp
Probably gonna finish this up Season 2 soon enough. I'm calling SPOILERS going forward for anyone checking this thread.
I like season 2 on the whole so far; but Charlotte casually telling Wyatt that she put the money in the walls? Come on. Lazy writing there.
Yeah...I'm through 4 episodes and really enjoying it. Seems like the first season was a little slow at times which has not been the case for Season 2.
Russ and Three are total cuck Blake level characters.
Just finished this last night. Liked it better than Season 1. Maybe one dud of an episode but otherwise, it was great.
I was glad that it didn't end with the family on the run.
Thought there might be a chance the story would get out of hand as business got bigger like Weeds, but no such problem. Writing and acting are really top notch, Linney and new addition Tom Pelphrey with some really meaty parts. Will be bitterly disappointing if it's not renewed by Netflix where this season ended, but that seems a remote possibility.
You already finished it? I’m several episodes in and I think it’s really good so far sans the side plot with Wendy’s brother and the son.
Finished season 3 over the weekend. Really enjoyed it.
I saw Chump say it might not get renewed? If so I’m curios as to why, it can’t be a popularity issue.
It's only in question because it hasn't been announced. Netflix usually takes a month or so to do that so I'm not really worried.
This new season is really ing good.
It was pretty damn good.
SEASON 3 SPOILERS********
Mixed thoughts on season 3. It was really good except for episodes 6-9 that were primarily dealing with the annoying ass bipolar brother that you knew the second they introduced him would be a big problem they had to end up killing. I wanted more cartel war action, more mob/mafia interaction. , even the basic money laundering casino stuff. Seems to me they didn't have enough material for hte main plot so had to play up the annoying brother subplot.
Good season overall. But episodes 6-9 I found myself in on my phone waiting for bipolar guy to hurry and get got.
The finale was tho.
I just finished episode 9 and was going to come here and post about how ing annoying the brother is. Glad to hear the finale is better though.
I liked the actor who played Ben from Iron Fist so I was enjoying his acting more than thinking how annoying the character was (since that was kind of the point with Ben). It's great how each of their admittedly shrewd schemes to get out of situations cascade into worse problems with higher stakes.
The acting for the role was definitely amazing, I just think it dragged on too long to arrive at the same conclusion for Ben that everyone knew into was going to arrive at all along.
Agreed, as soon as his condition was revealed his arc was pretty clear. As for the acting, his crack-ups were pretty extraordinary. I can't believe someone could yell "NO" that many times without at least once slipping into Episode III Vader.
So they borrowed from Bloodlines?
Either way, I like the show, will check it out after I finally finish GOT
His depiction of someone with bipolar disorder was amazingly accurate, maybe even better than Claire Danes in Homeland. Convincing himself he didn’t need to take his meds, the manic episodes, profusely apologizing after having an outburst, etc. Captured all the elements.
If I didn't have so much HBO going I would've hit season three on day one. Might not be 'til summer I get to watching it.
