In a way the brief excerpts in the book gives the country faith in the WH staff and other branches of government. When Trump throws a tantrum or makes an obviously horrible decision, just grab papers off his desk or, as Spurminator’s post suggests, distract him like he is two years old.
Checks and balances extends to a kindergarten set up in the WH.

I don’t begrudge mr Woodward for selling a book. Merely pointed out who his audience is.
Since this is a negative book on Trump, Woodward good again. He was never my hero, even when he wrote something slightly negative about Obama.

In Darrin’s defense, he wasn’t really celebrating Woodward in those quotes, just pointing out the hypocritical reaction the liberal media had to the Obama book. They on Woodward, a perpetual dem icon since the Nixon years, when he was critical of Obama.
Either way, his books are highly entertaining and, while he may sometimes give too much credibility to some sketch sources, he’s really no partisan hack. Trumpers can’t just dismiss him as a “Dem operative”.
