I still don't think it's Pence, but whoever came up with #VeepThroat is a genius.
And "lodestar" was a crafty move for whoever wrote it.
I think the "source could lose his job" excludes him. You cant fire a vice president.
Trump cant fire him but he can tell him to go sit in a windowless office in the basement for the next 2 years![]()
I would go with Nikki Haley. No one talks about her anymore. Trump knee-capped her earlier this year and made her look like a fool in front of the world when she announced additional sanctions on Russia and Trump walked them back the next day. Since then her word means . She may feel she has a political career to salvage.
If I were a betting man, I would put $20 on John Kelly, tbh... probably gets yelled at and denigrated by Trump on a daily basis, but having a military background probably puts him into this position where his mission to the country is greater than the POTUS abject stupidity...
Could be Don Mcghan as well. He did spill his guts to Mueller and is on his way out
Its most likely nikki haley
cannot keep her mouth shut, already has clear NYT contacts and wants to be president![]()
“Held russia accountable”
Yup its hershe already claimed next chemical attack was assad eventhough planes havent taken off yet
Instead of saying that, it'd hold some, ya know, weight, if you argued why he's full of .
John Dean thinks it Kelly
It cannot be Sarah Slanders
I don’t buy the Nikki Haley bit. She’s in land and isolated in some other country most of the time.
My money is on Dan Coats.
GENERAL Kelly has been ignominiously marginalized, has an axe to grind, and is probably gone soon.
What was the anonymous op ed author thinking? So stupid.
Well, Donald should try not to be such a bad president then.
Agreed?
You read that in one minute. I’m impressed.
Agreed?
It's not a long column.
So Donald can avoid any further trouble by not being a terrible president, right hater?
in the NYT handbook, is "a senior White House official" a well-defined group? whom is the designation meant to exclude?
could it possibly have been a WH flunky of lesser power and status than the manner of attribution suggests?
https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/05/polit...-ed/index.htmlthe description used by the Times -- "a senior official in the Trump administration" -- is broad enough to include virtually anyone in the Trump White House, a Cabinet official, undersecretary or someone on, say, the National Security Council.
