It’s not inexplicable at all. Two FBI agents working the case didn’t think Flynn lied. This was in the House Intelligence Committee Russia Report. Andrew McCabe testified to them that two FBI agents who interviewed Michael Flynn “didn’t think he was lying.”

Trump told pool that he'd seen George Papadopoulos get nailed for lying to the FBI and Michael Flynn get nailed for lying to the FBI. He inexplicably said Mueller thought Flynn lied but that the FBI did not. Said he is leery they will try to ensnare him for perjury.

You worship a man who admits he is unable to walk into an interview which could clear his name and reputation and establish his innocence - and simply tell the truth?
Any human being who rightly believes he is innocent would confidently walk into that room, tell the truth and exonerate himself completely.
