    Ghost In The S - 1/10

I’m 45 minutes in and wishing I hadn’t wasted my time. And that was with incredibly low expectations going in. Incoherent dog , and the visual effects are terrible.

I give you a 10 for actually putting up with that bull . Stick to the original anime movie. If you haven't watched Akira then watch that too. Graphics are outdated since it's from the 80s but the story is awesome and pretty brutal.

Ditto for Ghost in The S . Japanese classics.

A lot better than I thought it would be, considering what I felt would be a gimmicky concept. Still kind of is, but the mystery is compelling enough to drive it.
Garbage. Felt like watching a movie on a computer screen. All it was was text messages, Face-timing, webcams, youtube videos and news report clips banded together to tell the story. Annoying way to watch a movie. This pile of crap could easily have premiered on the Lifetime Channel.

Having recently re-watched The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford I'll say that it's gotta be one of the most underrated movies of all time, and one of the best I've ever seen tbh. Fantastic score. Stunning cinematography. Great acting all around (arguably the best of both Pitt and Casey Affleck's careers). Absolute masterpiece. And imho better than No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood which came out in the same year tbh
Going to have to give that one another go. I haven't seen it since it was out in theatres and don't remember a whole lot about it.

That's the gimmick, like I said. Were you not aware of the format before you went to see it?

    7,5 out of 10.

it was nice to see some sleaze in a Sharpe movie with some memorable looking baddies. Also the French British team up was awesome.

War for the Planet of the Apes - 3/10

honestly, i really hated the movie. and i really enjoyed the first 2 movies, big fan of the genre... i still think Serkis kills it. but the movie was ing awful. incredibly slow, plot wasn't compelling, characters werent interesting. the first 2 movies had distinct tones and areas they wanted to explore. movie 1 was all about caesar's character development, and i thought that was great. movie 2 was about the resulting conflict, and was more action heavy, was still a lot of fun. movie 3 felt like they just wanted to make another one and just felt incredibly redundant with the second one.

i just thought it was boring and unimaginative. i checked out some reviews later and was floored to find that it got a lot of critical acclaim.

    The Post - 7/10

This was a good movie tbh. I wasn't a big fan of the pacing, and they probably could have made the movie about 20 minutes shorter and it would have been better for it. Odenkirk was ing awesome here. I don't really think Hanks/Streep did anything noteworthy as actors in this one... but I guess you needed some star power to get people to want to see a movie about the newspaper industry. Sounds like I'm ting on the movie, but it was quite good, and A++ to Spielberg for deciding to use the actual Nixon taped recordings instead of just casting somebody to speak. Those scenes were incredibly powerful.

    The Nun 4.5/10

Typical teenager bull I guess they'd find scary.. all the jump scares were telegraphed, the Nun's appearances weren't scary.. Too much focus on cheap scares.

Saw this Saturday. Saw the two Conjuring movies in the theater as the best scare scenes are sound induced on the first one specifically. If I'm watching a horror movie or an action movie, it's going to be at a theater because it makes the experience so much better than watching at home. I know not to expect "good" movies, but I go to horror or action movies for the experience.

That said, worst of The Conjuring movies. 5/10.

Yah I thought it was mediocre but I think having not watched the previous (2?) films played a part in this reaction. And also why other people were seriously emotionally tied to the ending. People did the clapping in my theater. Then reviews online were going in depth about how this scene in the new film signified meaning from a previous one.

Woody Harrelson stole the show. The actual War was so incredibly anti-climatic and the twist at the end rather hilarious.

Funny I could almost say the exact same thing for the Han Solo movie

Solo didn't really feel like a star wars movie other than Chewbacca being in it.

    Woody was good tho

I fell asleep during both Conjurings and both Annabelles.. not even trying to say they were boring but either way I never watched them all the way through. I wasn't aware that this movie was tied to the franchise, so that was a surprise when they showed those demonologists or whatever from the Conjuring in the beginning. I guess I would have to revisit my score after watching them all in order.. Jump scares and imagery alone, wasn't too impressed.

Haven't see The Nun and won't until it's out on Netflix or some but I thought that Valak dude is one scary ing concept.

They took the scariest part of The Conjuring 2 and had no idea where to go with this so they ran the en y into the ground. Annabelle was .

Pretty disappointed in a movie that got decent reviews and had an interesting premise.

I think better acting and directing could have made this very good.
