Any public servant - who has been warned by an ally of the USA that a candidate for president might be a russian asset - would absolutely have a duty to "stop him."
A simple statement about stopping a criminal who has been compromised and could be a danger to our democracy - has been turned into an ominous sign of bias.
Reach much?

Let’s see if he just pled out
Trump a few weeks ago: Paul Manafort is very strong, never gave in.
Trump today: Who's Paul Manafort?
Could just be a plea to avoid trial. We will see if any cooperation
No way he flipped. He just doesn't want to pay for another trial since he's already got a pardon locked down.
Except Trump can’t pardon co conspirators. If he tries it, the state will come back with more charges and there is no escape.
Co-conspirator in what?
In the Russia investigation crimes. In financial crimes. Etc. Sorry Darrin. That self perma ban gonna look good on you.
by the way, Cohen claimed in court Trump was his co conspirator In the payments.
So he's going to get 3 pardons? Or 2? I dont know exactly how that would work but he's been found guilty on 8 of 18 and the judge in that case gave Mueller more time to decide if he wants to retry those other 10. He gets found guilty on those and the one in DC and he's triple ed.
I just dont see how pardoning him at least twice is going to be a good look on Trump.
If Trump pardons Manafort, and Mueller is able to prove that Trump promised Manafort the pardon - in order to keep Manafort from testifying truthfully in a crime that Trump is involved in - then Trump would have another Obstruction of Justice charge added.
it wouldn’t work and could count as more obstruction charges
Another? There’s not even one.
Maybe Trump helped Manafort fudge his tax returns.![]()
Why are Repugs obstructing and interfering to benefit Russia - at every turn?

More obstruction charges? Can you give me the current list?
You think Trump gives two s how the pardons look? He only has to impress GOP voters who will swallow any amount of from him.
You believe Mueller is not sitting on a strong Obstruction of Justice charge (or three?) against Trump?
1) Comey (loyalty test) - comey refused - Comey fired.
2) Lester Holt interview
3) Trump ordering McGahn to fire Mueller
4) Trump lying about the Trump tower mtg-then crafting a false statement about the mtg to obstruct
5) A library full of tweets labeling the investigation a hoax/witch hunt/etc
6) Trump spilling his guts in the Oval ofc to the Russians after firing Comey
7) Trump harassing Sessions
8) Trump targeting and influencing the McCabe firing
9) Trump maligning Bruce Ohr
10) Trump attacking Mueller via tweet
Geez, there is probably a few more things to bolster an Obstruction case - but you think Mueller - has no charges in his back pocket just waiting for the proper time?

Who gives a ? The Republicans are going to boot him from office?
Have you been living under a rock?
Trump has been under investigation for a year and a half and a big component of the investigation is about obstruction of justice.
Well given that a huge Trumpie was part of the Manafort trial and had to vote for a guilty verdict because the charges were so obvious and said that if Trump pardoned him she would look at him different. That's pretty big coming from a braiwashed Trump lover.
Mueller is methodically constructing his case(s). He will follow the truth, follow the money, follow the law which will result in the truth revealed.
The stronger the case gets - and the lower Trumps approval ratings go - will be like a rope being squeezed around the complicit corrupt Republican neck. Factor in the mid-terms and the possibility of a big change in one or both House/Senate - and the wiggle room the Republicans once had will be almost gone.
They can go ahead and remain in Trumps corner as long as they want - but not without political consequences, eventually.
There are limits to pardons especially those counting as self pardons.
If it’s just a plea to avoid trial with no cooperation you’ll be crushed and Mueller will be wrapping up shortly after.
