Can we get a no conditions clause? Make a pick and stick with it.
11-4-1
I got the Bengals for this game (this was a tough one), and I will have the rest of my picks later.
Can we get a no conditions clause? Make a pick and stick with it.
This is what homework will get ya.
I found what I was looking for, a reason to back a side.
The Ravens are 1-5 in their past six games at Paul Brown Stadium, with the ****average margin of defeat over 10 points per game****. Quarterback Joe Flacco has struggled throughout his career against Cincinnati, amassing 19 touchdowns, 23 interceptions and a 72.3 passer rating in 19 games.
Yep, backing the Bengals in this "spot".

If ya think you can pick these games....gut feeling....nope.. It's all about finding info/stats/trends that favor a side. Ya play "spots".

Everyone having to put "-1" for the entire season because of the tie in week 1
You could just omit that, though. Not like it makes any difference.
Falcons
Chargers
Texans
Saints
Jets
Steelers
Eagles
Redskins
Rams
49ers
Broncos
Jaguars
Cowboys
Bears
I don't do TNF anymore...such a ty, unpredictable product.
I'll add my Vikes-Pack pick once I know whether Rodgers is a go or not
Cin
Car

Week 2
CAR @ ATL - Falcons quarterback isn't good, and they have too many big chess pieces missing. Carolina out for blood this year, their defense is incredible.
LAC @ BUF - BUF's roster is awful and shouldn't win more than 2 games this year.
MIN @ GB - Never pick against the great Aaron Rodgers at home. Aaron Rodgers is the GOAT and it's in Lambeau.
HOU @ TEN - really, they're going to trot out Gabbert? Texans rebound here after a rough week 1 matchup.
CLE @ NO - Any given Sunday, but no way the Saints can lose again here, right?
MIA @ NYJ - God damn that Darnold guy is good. It's about damn time the Cheatriots get some real compe ion in their division for a pleasant change.
KC @ PIT - Steelers have had their number in recent years, but these are different teams. They can't stop Mahomes the way they stopped Axmiff, Bell is still out, and Big Ben has regressed.
PHI @ TB - Fitzmagic's luck runs out against this elite opponent.
IND @ WAS - Adrian Peterson may be the real deal, and Chris Thompson is the perfect complement to him. Axmiff always plays well after moving to a new team, and the Colts' defense is atrocious.
AZ @ LAR - Love Fitzgerald but the Cardinals have one of the worst rosters in the NFL this year, a new coach who isn't good, and the Rams are big dogs in the NFC.
DET @ SF - Detroit continues to be garbage in 2018. Garoppolo returns to his usual form because he's at home and not playing the mighty Vikings defense.
OAK @ DEN - Don't, I repeat, DON'T, bet against the Broncos at home in September! Almost impossible to win on the road in the heat AND al ude. Seahawks paid for it, all right.
NE @ JAX - This one is extremely tough to call, but the damn Cheatriots always tend to win these road regular-season-AFC-championship type games every year. Plus, Fournette might not play or be 100% if he does. Shame on the NFL for scheduling this one in week 2.
NYG @ DAL - The Giants simply aren't good, and the Cowboys rebound from an expected stinker in week 1 at home. Good vibes all around on a Sunday night at home. When's the last time the Cowboys have lost a Sunday night home game? And it's not like they don't play a lot of them. I count zero in the Zeke era with Zeke playing.
SEA @ CHI - Major talent mismatch here. Chicago rebounds from their tragic loss of a big upset win last weekend to beat the Seahawks who are a bad road team and don't have a very good roster.
I'd almost be willing to say, we should all agree to omit ties as well as TNF games (EXCLUDING Thanksgiving games which DO count)... besides the fact this thread started after opening TNF night, not everyone has time to make picks in the middle of the week...
everyone agreed?
Agreed. No "pick GB if Rodgers plays, the other team if he doesn't..." crap. It's one game, take the L, maybe you'll get a surprise W, no excuses.
for example, my GB pick still stands if Rodgers doesn't play. I think Kizer would be enough to beat MIN at Lambeau, tbh.
I second that. For those that want to bet TNF, they can take the risk, but have to accept the hit to their record if they lose.
Off to a 1-0 start this week.
Here's some more of my picks.
Falcons
Redskins
Texans
Eagles
Chiefs
Dolphins
Chargers
Vikings
Saints
49ers
Rams
Patriots
Broncos
Cowboys
Seahawks vs Chicago pick will happen tommorrow
Looks like Rodgers is a go, so I'll lock my pick in for GB in that matchup.
Rodgers is the GOAT, unless there is a broken bone or major tear (ACL etc)... he's always going to be a go.
Just kidding.
But Rodgers is playing, so it's a moot point.
10-4-1
For right now I got the Bears for MNF.
8-5-1 going into Monday. The NFL needs to ins ute Kansas tiebreakers in overtime. This tie bull is starting to remind me of soccer
Dan Bailey to the Vikings. One week too late.
