Not really. More of a meh signing because I see little upside but he could eat some minutes if there are injuries.

Don't love it. They already had him on a camp deal. He did nothing in the summer league to make me want to upgrade his status.
Spurs have no idea what the they're doing with these two-way contracts. It seems that they sign the scrubbiest players they can with them.
Spurs need backup at the 4 and 5, so this makes sense.
He's got long arms, but is a bit short. On the other hand, Lauverne was also the same height.
He didn't impress at all in Summer League.
Two way deals aren't really that good anyway, so don't expect anyone with any real upside to sign.
The other two-way I think automatically goes to Heustis. That's what I've heard so far.
Can you blame him? 20 years of competing for a chip with the greatest trio in NBA history and now it seems like every signing makes some fans want to puke. , sometimes it even feels like:

he was dominate in summer league & often looked like the best player on the court.................he an instant upgrade over pau...........jakob/eubanks = splitter/blair
He played well and controlled in the SL, in limited minutes. He’s got good athleticism, great in pick and rolls and positioning himself around the basket for easy buckets. He can also block some shots. I like it, I think he can be a good rotation player. With that being said I hope Blossomgame gets the other 2 way contract with the team.

Not the flashiest looking guy out there, but from what I saw he's got some moxy in him. Have to see how his game will translate against NBA players.
Josh Huestis is NBA trash. He's a failed OKC project that has zero offensive skills. Everyone agreed that he was a second round talent, but because he agreed to sign a d-league contract for a year, he was a late first pick, and cost cutting move by OKC. It didn't pay off.
That's the point. Some guy who learns the system and soaks up minutes for injuries.

For Eubanks, it's triple the G-league salary.

Yuck. Huestis is older than JSimms was when he caught on here, and has shown far less. I hope he's a training camp casualty.
