If we beat TCU, the nation and the recruits will take notice. It will be a tough test for sure. TCU is a sound football team, one of the best coached teams in the nation.

No one victory will be enough to seal the deal with this kid. Gonna be a battle til the end.
Texas needs to do this for every recruit. Either strive for progress as a program and victory on the field, or get left behind. By now I think we all know how it feels to be left behind: epic battles with Kansas and Tulsa, and endless historical team video because the present team is stuck in mediocrity.

Texas shutting down the run and defending the pass in the red zone very well.
So far this is a very solid game for the Texas defense. If the Texas offense can keep doing what they are doing they will ware down the TCU defense and win this game.

Horrible sequence of decisions. Option pitch to your power back to the short side of field on 4th down at midfield. Thank goodness for the defense.
This offensive play calling is abysmal. Just terrible.
Its easy to second guess but that ball should have been kicked on 4th down with the small lead and pin TCU deep and let your defense have the whole field to work with. I am convinced Herman is an idiot.
Disagree on the play calling, the one bad call was the 4th down call, but other than that, the calls were pretty good.
Very disappointing that Texas played so well in the 1st half and still going into half time down.
Need to play faster
Are you blind? The third and short plays looked good to you? The fourth down attempt look like a quality call to you? Play calling was absolute in the second quarter. Par for the course.

My opinion on the first half.
I like the game plan for Texas, I think tey are going to ware down TCU and take over in the 4th. They just need to keep them out of the end zone in the 3rd. TCU has another 10 points in the game, Texas needs to score 17 or more to win this game. Texas gets BJ Foster back in the 2nd half.
This is the best I've seen Texas play against TCU in a very long time. Though I'm disappointed Texas is losing, I think they are going to win.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Sam makes 1 good pass out of every 5 throws.
