Because Bale said he wouldn’t do a Batman movie without Nolan. Also in retrospect, Bale wasn’t that great of a Batman. He was solid in Batman Begins, but was pretty dull in TDK and TDKR.

bale is overrated as bruce wayne. nolan and ledger carried his ass.

The movies were made fun of for having unnecessarily funny voices. Bale in TDK and Hardy in TDKR. Also Hardy was the size of Hardy as Bane, was hard to ignore that.
