I can believe her, but not be willing to condemn a man based on her memory and word alone. Again, if the committee had this information when they had time to nominate someone else, considering how tenuous this has made the nomination, they probably would have taken advantage of that. The Democrats didn't want that. They wanted a win.

What condemnation is Kavanugh getting? That he might not get a life time spot on the Supreme Court? If you believe her then you must believe Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her. Why does someone guilty of a violent crime like that deserve to be shielded? I really don't understand your complaint about Kavanaugh's family being dragged through this also. What makes them special? We don't make family exceptions when locking up criminals, and it's not like the poor Kavanaugh family is going to see daddy sent off to jail anyways.

I'm listening. Ford is testifying well. Obviously, there still more questions to be asked. It's annoying that the prosecutor can only ask questions 5 minutes at a time. There should be a better format for this. The Dems are obviously going to grandstand, but the prosecutor is asking good, fair questions about what happened and getting the actual story.

At the end of the day, Ford supports her story by looking credible. She does. The real burden is on Kavanaugh. Ford is going to get the benefit of the doubt as the alleged victim. Kavanaugh has to show that you can trust him despite credible testimony of Ford and other allegations, however weak, are out there about him.
