In crowded men's rooms at clubs and at the movies, where people are patiently waiting in line, I sometimes encourage them to use the sink if it happens to be free.
No one ever takes the suggestion.
It would be a shorter line for me if they did.

Of course there is a serious risk to the “believe all accusers” approach—it leads to wrongful convictions. But there is also a risk to a “never believe an uncorroborated charge” approach—it means that you can attack someone if you’re alone with them, and as long as you leave no marks, you’ll get away with it forever.

Not quite. The existence of a “he said, she said” does not mean it’s impossible to figure out the truth. It means we have to examine what he said, and what she said, as closely as possible. If both parties speak with passion and clarity, but one of them says many inconsistent, evasive, irrational, and false things, while the other does not, then we actually have a very good indicator of which party is telling the truth. If a man claims to be innocent, but does things—like carefully manipulate words to avoid giving clear answers, or lie about the evidence—that you probably wouldn’t do if you were innocent, then testimony alone can substantially change our confidence in who to believe.
the clear innuendo is that the only reason transgender folks go to the women's room is to expose themselves to little girls.
and not, say, to avoid getting assaulted in the men's room by men who presume trans people mainly go to the bathroom with kinky intentions.

The guy could not even admit he got drunk in HS and college. Just fckn admit it! This is one, among a number of transgressions in his testimony that tell me he is a full-fledged liar. He wanders around getting madder while defending irrelevant topics. We went through the transcript of the hearing and noted every single time a question was asked of Ford and Kavanaugh. (We didn’t include the times a questioner didn’t ask an explicit question.) Then we noted every instance in which answered the question or said they didn’t know the answer — and we also noted every time they either refused to answer or gave an answer that didn’t address the question. Because he could not let some things go. He clearly drank to excess. But he could not stand to be asked that question and then move on. And imo, if he was going to wander around questions, Wander back to the fact that he would never ever do what Dr. Ford accused him of and never has. To ANY WOMAN. But he did not.

He got himself purposely worked up over obvious Democratic ploys to keep him out of this position and directed his outrage towards THIS because he could not get himself worked up about the REAL ACCUSATION. I have seen people pull this childish maneuver but it is not being brought out by these supposed lawyers? Possibly because his family is bearing his failings.

Agreed - but I'll simplify it even more - THIS - is what I feel an honest person would say from the very beginning;
I did drink as a young man and maybe even did some irresponsible things.
(of course deny whatever is alleged)
Furthermore, I absolutely do not want there to be any question - so yes - I will ask the committee to please pause on this process - release 100% of all my public do ents for review, re-open a full FBI investigation since new allegations surfaced and I will submit to a polygraph examination - just to leave zero doubt on my credibility.
This is what an innocent person would do.
