    -Disgusting series of moves

-I can't see when he actually suffered the injury. It's obvious that he was already hurt by the time he was shooting the shot. The landing had nothing to do with the injury.

-Not a good sign that it was such a non-contact injury. Whatever happened was destined to happen sooner rather than later. That could be why there were whispers that some teams hesitated on drafting him -- even going as far as classifying his physical as failed.

-I guess best case scenario is that this injury is just an extension of his previous torn meniscus and they can go in, clean it up and let him get on with his career.

-Man, this kid could be damn good if he can get -- and stay -- healthy.

Man.. he has so much talent! So much skill and potential. I REALLY hope that the surgery is a success and he can stay healthy because this dude can be a special player.

Yes hopefully it is "an extension" from his previous injury. Feel bad for the kid and the team. I can only hope he comes back strong to finish out the season. Everyone has had high hopes for him...good luck Lonnie!

That behind the back dribble just before the shot he torsed the knee. Not much stress there. Like tmvp said this has to be a continuation of the prior injury, maybe they tried to be too conservative in the original surgery. He’s just going to have to spent A LOT of time the rest of his career strengthening the muscles around the knee.

I did not see that video before. That is the definition of a non-contact situation. The "U" docs did the previous procedure. The Spurs docs need to get the young guy right this time and wait it out. LW is a teenager and has the tools to be really good. The Spurs have options at shooting guard while he is out. Options that have a lot more NBA experience. Patience.

It doesn't look good. Really not even an explosive jump or anything and no one hit him on that leg. I also read rumors that other teams passed on him earlier bc of his injury. It looked like it could have happened at any time, in practice, in the gleague, doesn't matter. There was nothing extraordinary about the level of compe ion to cause it.

I really can't see what caused it!

Could he have gained so much muscle that his body can't take the stress at 19 years old?

You would think that he's practiced that move hundreds of time only to have him get a tear at the 101th time in preseason.

All the promise maybe down the drain and we all have to lower our expectations this year. Lonnie Walker IV is a good as gone for the entire season. Best case scenario is takes it easy and rehabs in G-league.

This kid is finished tbh. Time to move on. No need to waste time on an injury prone youngster.

Kid the was nasty there. Still finished through that. Even had the center running to the middle for defense. All 1v1. Usually it's harder to beat your man this way. And those moves were silk brah. Damn.

Hmm. I thought it looked funny at first. That was definitely a double dribble. Brings it over with his right and finished the crossover with his left. All he needs to do is stay healthy manage his athleticism with a more poised game and we have a legit starter and more in Walker.

Looks to me like his right foot was aligned slightly to the left when he move forward with that leg to jump. putting some sideways pressure on the knee to jump. Like thoroughbred racing horses, these guys are so freaky physical on their size, build and musculature, that it doesn't take a lot of misalignment in a move that they are constantly using to cause an injury. Especially when they are so young and still growing into their mature size. Building the muscles that protect the knee is greatly needed because the pressures put on the knees in this sport are extreme.

Just a slight misstep and we lose his talent for a time. The kid deserves a few prayers from Spurs fans for a fast and full recovery and rehab.

Get your client to come back out of retirement. Pretty sure he could have lasted the preseason at least.
