8 points Smallwood. Good job by Big Balls Doug for going for two there, a play in Madden I like to make a lot.

Eagles found their lead back in Smallwood, I think.

Ajayi is a violent runner and very agile but he's just too injury prone, fumbles, doesn't have top end speed, and is a free agent after this year. Clement is a very good #2 and utility back. Sproles is done most likely.

Terrible challenge by Pederson there, especially since you're losing without the ball and only have 1 timeout.

Vikings getting into FG range almost seals the game here... but Bailey has been trash since 2016 so who knows.

Buck/Aikman whining, but that was the right call from Pederson. Try and get a cheap 5 yards for a shorter FG, or take the delay and punt and pin them deep.

Until you realize that Jerruh is still the owner, Garrett is still the coach, and Dak is still the QB.

Thielen is the smartest WR in the NFL in a loooooooooong time.... also not a diva holding out, willing to play for $4M a year to make the team better... he's amazing.

    ............ nevermind, or not.

I don't see why every team does that. 4th down QB sneak is the hardest play to defense in football. McVay is brilliant.

..... because his defense gave up 33 points and didn't get the ball back for the offense at the end like almost every other defense in the league would.

The critical play by the Seattle defense was losing outside contain and giving up 8 yards on 2nd & 9 to Gurley. That's an expected handoff situation and should go for no more than 2, 3 yards at most.

They held up nicely on 3rd & 1 and you really can't blame the defense for giving up the sneak. The 4th & 1 (or less) sneak has a >90 percent conversion rate long term in the NFL, it's pretty much an indefensible play. You absolutely have to win 1st and 2nd down as a defense in that situation to get the ball back for your offense. It really shouldn't be too much to ask because you know they're going to run the ball. If you get beat by a bootleg on 1st or even 2nd down, so be it. But you cannot let a simple handoff go for 5 yards or more in that situation.

That said, incredible guts by Goff and McVay to go for it. If they somehow were to get stopped, bad snap, slip up or otherwise, the Rams lose the game because they're out of timeouts themselves and Seattle is already in medium field goal range with over a minute left to get closer.

I'm sorry, but the "Struggle" argument is invalid for this game. Even on the last Seattle offensive drive they got in field goal range with the brilliant throw from Wilson to Lockett, and then had a couple stupid holding penalties which forced them out of it and to punt. That's on the OL, not Wilson.

Rofl as ty as the Cowboys are this year, they have a legitimate shot at every game on their schedule.

I don’t remember them ever having a schedule this easy

In August, we all penciled in the Eagles for another 12 or 13 win season and the Falcons for an 11 win season. You can't just assume those things. Jacksonville ought to pick it up though, their defense is too good. Tennessee is that weird team this year who could beat or lose to anyone anywhere. Houston sucks and Colts have no defense.

The other thing is, Cowboys have to play the Saints, but it's at home and the Saints don't do well on the road with Brees historically. Jerry would be smart to keep the roof open for that one regardless of the weather.
