Those plays are good every now and then. He can be at best a combo gaurd to me but I think he has the ability on this team to be an outstanding off the ball shooter. We definitely need more of those especially at his size.

I have been watching him play quite a bit. He was 3-6 in the last game, 5-9 the game before that, dominated the summer league, and led the Austin G League team to a championship at the end of last season. What are you referring to?
Mills and White will probably. I'm just saying from a developmental standpoint and when DJ is healthy. White's game best fits a shooting gaurd eventually. I think for now he's learning the pg role as the back up and because DJ is still developing. It's almost like this team is building a pg committee until DJ develops.

I like Demar and Gay connection. I think he best plays combo guard especially since Spurs don’t have a real PG right now. Let him develop the play with (I hate to say it) Mills and Bertans creating space, but that takes away a lot of D. Spurs need a real 3&D to solve.
Demar looks faster than people give him credit for..he accelerated pretty quick @ 0:57 of that video.
think murray being down will open up a lot of opportunities for him to get comfortable bringing his offensive game into our sets
I think it's more his lateral quickness that appears a concern when trying gaurd the perimeter. Appears to have relatively slow feet too. Anyway. He is a good playmaker and scorer at least. Wont expect any MVP talk with the Spurs.

36.4% from the field, 14% from the three in the pre-season . Anytime he's been on the floor with real NBA players he has not looked good. Now, I hope as much as anyone, he can adjust, but he looks like a deer caught in headlights when on the floor with the big boys.
A little harsh. This last game tanked his field goal % but he was filling in with an squad he hasn't build chemistry with and playing against the top rotation of the Rockets (should've won the championship last year). DIdn't see the last game but he definitely showed flashes in the first two and the scrimmage that he can make plays, especially looking for his own shot.
