I hate to say it.. but I actually thought about this immediately when things started happening again this season.
Every team he belongs to gets worse (not possible with Kings). We had less wins last year, the curse is causing injuries already this year. We’ll be a lottery team unless we eradicate him soon.

Grizzlies got better not because Gay was not there but because Gasol and Conley went into their primes. Add Rudy yo that and it would've been even better.
They got worse when he came back from injury to restart the curse. That is why he was traded to Toronto.
Maybe it's the Charles Barkley curse because we guarded him with Carl Herrera?

People Rudy Gay is looking great this year. In our short sample size no one looks better. He, DeRozan, and LMA are great players and might surprise a few people.
Lost in 1st round to clipper with him shooting around 40% and the Grizz beat us without him in the first round and that's the reason why. Not saying he's the reason for our problems because I don't believe that to be true, but those things happened that I posed

I somewhat believe in the curse.. but this is completely different. Rudy is now a 3rd option. He won’t be able to affect the game in a negative way as he did as the 1st and 2nd option. He will be more like a 3&D type of guy for this team. But also with the ability to be the main guy off the bench in small doses, allowing the team to have someone who can get their own shot at any time. It’s not that big of a deal. The way he’s playing now is much more efficient than years past.

It's like ing Final Destination. The Curse wasn't able to make the Spurs miss the playoffs last year. It will NOT be making the same mistake again.
