Well good choice then. People who don't have the right temperament for investing in the market shouldn't do it themselves. I'm not cut out for real estate so I don't go near it.
Sure but all Insaid Im glad Intook most my $$$ earlier in the year. Boy I am glad today

Good to know that when multiple states are being wrecked by a hurricane, and the stock market is dropping like a stone, our so-called president is having the world's stupidest lunch with Kanye West and Kid Rock.

Eh... I'll keep buying. I don't use the stock market for short term investing. Any money I have in there will stay there for years/decades.

    Ok that was funny.

Too bad President Pussygrabber and Pissboy McGee weren't talking monetary policy, or disaster recovery.

Eyup. Stock market corrections are, for long term investors, simply good opportunities to buy cheap. Dollar cost averaging FTW.

You lose nothing unless you sell. How much had the market gone up since 2008?

So in 2008 we all lost 30%

Sure we got some back but next crash will lose us 40% or more IMO

so in the end will the ppl that as you say put in their money for decades, will they really make $ or lose $ in the end? Probably break even imo or make a measly 7%... so bad investment imo

Bull , the plain ol' S&P has averaged around 11% even after you factor in the down years. People that jump in and out are the ones losing money.

I don't plan on pulling a penny out in 5 years or less. If tanks, I keep buying. And when it goes back up (it always does), I have that much more growth.

Same here. I might shift some investments, but I won't cash out anything.

Donald Trump takes credit for the record, I wonder who he'll blame the correction on.
