Why was he "resting" 13 more games than the previous year under Gentry?
And the year before that why did he "rest" Nash only one game?

Walker. Murray. White. And now Gay.

I wonder when Spurs' fans version went from "he's not injured, he's faking an injury" to "he was injured, but he didn't follow protocol"
Kawhi didn't need surgery.Let's don't forget Kawhi broke his finger a few years ago and the Spurs team handled that surgically.
But I remember he needed a 2nd opinion in 2015 because Spurs' medical staff "have never seen an injury like that"...those were Pop's words.
I also remember that Danny and Patty aggravated their injuries playing for the team with the "most conservative" medical staff in the league. What an irony

Because he needed it. Getting older isn't easy but he was playing at elite level until his last day as Sun. This is other thing that you can't deny...
Denying Aaron Nelson's work![]()
Pop doesn't often speak on timeline's, so this is obviously much better than what was initially reported. Hopefully...
Denying the existence of time.![]()
Of course Pop said he has never seen an injury like that! Think about it. You don't get the sarcasm? And think about the list of other things the staff has done for players. 30 years worth. Pick out what you want, but the staff has the best record of treatment in the league. Chris Paul aggravated his hammy in the playoffs. Was that Dr Lowes fault? Dr Lowe blew their chance at a ring? Paul elected to play. Just like Danny did. Because they are gamers. The entire team knew Kawhi was ready. They supported him like a teammate should, until it became blatantly obvious. He had to go to 4 different Orthopods to get the diagnosis he wanted. Go ask any of the NBA team docs, and they will concur on both the diagnosis and rehab. Go ask them privateley, and they will tell you Kawhi could have played early on last year.
Not a Kawhi thread, but damn. White will be fine. Nothing could have been done to prevent plantar fasciitis. Except not playing.
Denying the influence of elite staff...
I wonder if this would finish like that convo about snowballs, just in case...before your next 30 replies...
I don't deny they're good, but so what? Everyone but you knows Nash fell off because he was getting old.
You just want to bash the Spurs staff because that is your agenda. You will always take every opportunity to do so.
Pop's like it might be two if we can get that hyperbolic time chamber set up.
Kawhi wasn't ready then and he's just 70% old Kawhi, his injury affected and changed his game.
At this point, after his preseasons games, it's very stupid to repeat he was "ready" when it's pretty clear, he wasn't and the injury was legit.
Of course Pop said he has never seen an injury like that! Think about it. You don't get the sarcasm? And think about the list of other things the staff has done for players. 30 years worth. Single out what you want, but the staff has the best record of treatment in the league. Chris Paul aggravated his hammy in the playoffs. Was that Dr Lowes fault? Dr Lowe blew their chance at a ring? Paul elected to play through it. Just like Danny did his, and he said as much. Because they are gamers. The entire team knew Kawhi was ready. They supported him like a teammate should, until it became blatantly obvious. He had to go to 4 different Orthopods to get the diagnosis he wanted. Go ask any of the NBA team docs, and they will concur on both the diagnosis and rehab the Spurs staff gave him. Which, btw, they all routinely collaborate on. Go ask them privateley, and they will tell you Kawhi could have played early on last year with that injury and the recovery time frame. It's just the fact.
Not a Kawhi thread, but damn. Point is, White will be fine. Nothing could have been done to prevent plantar fasciitis. Except not playing. Don't go looking for blame. We already had to go thru that divisive bs.
I've been saying the same thing about the misdiagnosis/mishandeling since March. This is not an opportunistic comment, I truly believe it.
The with this season. Let's go for the lottery. We've had good luck there in the few times we made it. Maybe we could get the future DROB or Timmy.
I actually wonder if it's not some confusion with Walker who was expected to be out 6-8 weeks and it's been reported that his timeline is shorter than initially reported by the press. The last on White was that he's out indefinitely. I frankly don't trust S.A. Local media.
The difference between CP3 and Danny is one guy plays for a coach who will put an injured player 40 minutes on court, the other guy played for a "conservative" coach who wouldn't play injured players...until he already did.
Just re-watch his preseasons games to realize how dumb you sound.Kawhi could have played early on last year with that injury and the recovery time frame. It's just the fact.
He lost lift, can't jump, can't shoot...His injury changed his game, only a blind guy could deny this.
Anyway, it's nice that you and your braille keyboard joined ST, Rip.
Ya man. A medical staff that has 30 years of nothing but accolades from players, former players, coaches, staff members, peers, industry people, and media. In fact, the lead doc was elected to lead the entire nba physicians association by his peers.
And then one guy that hires a family member that knows nothing about the industry, is money hungry, wants to make a name for himself, wants his nephew in a major market, and has teamates that know he can suit up and play.
Damn, it was right in front of me. I can't believe I didn't trust and believe Kawhi and his camp. Makes so much sense when you look at it that way.
I think it was Shams who put out the indefinitely tag on him, but yea. 2-4 weeks would fall in that indefinite category. That would be great news of course.
Maybe they'll keep feeding Jabari fake info for his antics last year.
Of course you believe in your agenda.
-I've been very critical of Kawhi's camp for their unprofessional way...Don't try to play that card with me.
-In your previous posts, Kawhi was already injure but didn't follow the treatments. In your last post...he faked the injury to go to a big market.
Sorry but...![]()
