I agree. McDonald has proven over his long tenure that he's not dependable when it comes to anything Spurs related. I would have to see the video.
It's not even a question. The entire NBA ortho community knows it. As does the rest of the NBA. Then there are those with agendas.

There is no need for agendas when facts are pretty obvious now.
Do you think the whole thing makes me happy? I really hate having been right about this.
I find sad to see an MVP caliber player becoming an inferior player due an injury. More when the injury was mishandled and some fans still deny he was injured.
of course you love saying you're right whether it's true or not.
Didn't the Spurs say the condition was degenerative in the first place?
YG-
It was known early on. You can write about it, and I hope you don't like it. Nor do any of us. Kawhi didn't turn out to be what we had hoped for. Every Orthopod from about October on had one of two thoughts. It's in his head, or it's his camp. Good to see the extra few months have gotten him right, though. Good for him.
In which parallel world? I wonder if you really follow this league or this preseason.
The rest of NBA is seeing that Kawhi isn't the player he once was....More they realize his injury was legit, more media is questioning the Spurs' medical staff.
Like it or not, this is what's happening.
And it will get worse in 1-2 months when haters can't use "rust" as excuse anymore.

The irony seriously...TP leaving for a playing time issue.
Trust me, not in this case.
We just heard them questioned his injury in public in a way like he wasn't injured and they cleared him to play.Didn't the Spurs say the condition was degenerative in the first place?
I doubt they talked about the type of injury when they didn't even believe he had one.
YG- you either know it, and know the Ortho industry, or not. It's disappointing for sure. Hang on to what you want in your world. I hate how it turned out as much as anyone. But this wasn't on the Spurs or staff. If they had bungled it, the community would know. As does the entire NBA community. They are seeing nothing of what you speak. It's well known. But I'm ok to know what I know and let you have your opinion. Doesn't change a ty situation. You can call me what you want, or use your own views. I'm just telling it what it is from the medical and NBA community. I don't really give a rats ass about him anymore. But I can tell you the medical staff is the best in the NBA.
The best and most conservative medical staff in the world cleared an injured player to play. Again, what an irony.
Yeah, it's safe to say you're wrong.

So...it's safe to say he wasn't faking an injury, right?
And the Spurs' medical staff cleared an injured player to play, right?
While they were questioning his injury in public knowing his injury was legit?
I guess I'm not wrong after all.
Yes, you were wrong. I'm happy to tell you you were wrong.
You were wrong.
Of course. It's just hard to rehab a guys head or a crazy relative. Not in any standard course of treatment. He was ok to go. Just as he is now. I hear it in your writing. You want to believe. It's just not true. He/ they completely manipulated this entire thing. Kawhi is not the guy you think, or hope he is. I can tell you this, after he and Pop met. It was basically give me 2 scrubs and a bag of chips. Just get him the Fck out of here. He was that bad of a teammate.
Yeah... I wonder why you can't answer those questions.
You can't admit they made a mistake, cleared an injured player who wasn't ready to play, and doubted a legit injury.
Looks like they cleared a player with a degenerative condition to play since playing itself wouldn't make it worse. Your observations on him this preseason only confirm he has a degenerative condition.
good job![]()
Missing bunnies, dunks....37% FG .16% 3P this preseason. Yeah "he was ok and he is now" This is the MVP candidate we knew before, right?
Just keep your braille keyboard away, Rip!
And I thought guard depth and only wing defense will be the problem coming forward![]()
He had an injury. It was diagnosed correctly. He was given a rehab protocol. He didn't follow it. He STILL was ready to play. Albeit later than he would have been. He/ and is crazy ass uncle proceeded to show their true colors. I wanted him to be different too man. Who knows what his motivations were. But cutting to the chase, medical staff was spot on. Kawhi did what he did that was completely for selfish reasons. Go find another Ortho team doc. Or even another Ortho surgeon. Or teammate. Or ex player. The answers will all be the same. Wish they weren't, but they are.
My observations on him just confirm he had an injury last seson who could receive the right treatment but the Spurs medical staff opted to play him.
Thanks for making my point.![]()
You are gonna believe what you want. Hang on to your hero. This kind of stuff always hurts.
When did Derrick white get tendonitis degeneration? Is that contagious or something cuz kawhi had that too....weird season
No, it does nothing of the sort.
You're arrogantly assuming you're right because of your bias.
Have you personally diagnosed Kawhi?
Yes or no.
No. And you?
See? You're arrongantly assuming you're right because of your bias.
This works both ways.
