So how much would you be willing to pay? He looked very good as a rookie but much less impressive last year.
Shved. I want The Shvedder. Cowabunga
Not much. Bryn Forbes deal basically and that's the same GSW offered except that I think it was only guaranteed for one year. He's not very good even when surrounded by a lot of talent. I'd just as soon pick someone out that looks good in the gleague. (Not huestis).
Wonder if Greg Sutton can still play, tbh.
Mike James would’ve been nice, I know he signed overseas but he was a free agent not too long ago
How does this work do we get like a roster exemption
Only if another player goes down and misses 3 games (or a week). They still have a two - contract available and could - more like should - conceivably waive Quincy Pondexter.
I'm hoping the Trail Blazers waive either Gary Payton II or Wade Baldwin (less likely of the two) since either would be a solid third PG. Although, very inexperienced....
Nick Johnson
Spurs gonna wait for some waivers. I don't see anything on the market now. Unless some of these China players like Brandon Jennings yuk
I wouldn't want the Spurs to trade for any expiring or quasi-expiring player like George Hill or Cory Joseph or Patrick Beverley even.
Without Murray any hope of a miracle le season is over. No sense burning assets to get guys that will either be gone or too expensive to be duplicative next year when Murray is back.
Even trading a second would be troublesome, because the Spurs could still get a decent pick in the second round.
These have been the most ed up injuries I've ever seen. The three injuries are to players we all would love to see play instead of an injuried player.
Sucks it didn't happen to Mills, Forbes and Gasol.

Yeah, this is waiver wire/extended training camp invite stuff. Guess they could work out left-for-dead vets as well.
Ok, let's see, at this rate, we're going to have 82 injuries during the season, with the average length of time for a player being out, of 6 wks. That works out to a total of, uh, 492 wks of total injury time.
I suggest we begin work on a strategic plan. Are there any small African countries for sale?
https://www.expressnews.com/spurs-na...n-13304036.phpPopovich said the Spurs would monitor the free-agent pool to see if they might be able to add a veteran body to help bolster the position. The team will also investigate trade options to help them tread water until injured players return.
Glad to see those news ace.
Depends if they Spurs are planning on using a second or trading two 1'st up a few positions. I can't see Spurs bringing in 3 rookies next season.
Probably a second round pick for some team’s backup point guard type of deal.
Spurs don't really have any tradeable contracts they'll entertain parting with. So we're looking at min contracts. Dunno of such a guard who'd make sense.
Ray trade all over again
, I'd rather they trot out De Culo or Udrih than Forbes tbh.
Starbury. We won't win anymore games, but we'll add a billion fans.
Trade the roster for Frank Mason III
i'd bring the entire Austin club into the mix. Let them play a full game together in the NBA. See how that goes.
Even if they were to pick up somebody waived from another team or add a 2 way player I would feel more at ease.
Their only move was Huestis in that gleague deal. The man isn’t expecting to finish his rehab until late Dec. Spurs need to look at someone else now.
