With Lebron gone, they have nothing. They have been the tier conference for decades, with only the Celtics, Heat and Magic keeping them afloat.

Conferences are only around to reduce travel expenses. This year it’s balanced at the top but the bottom is where it’s ridiculous. Celtics, Sixers, Raptors, and maybe Milwaukee are playoff teams in the West. That’s it. Meanwhile, EVERY SINGLE West team (including Sacramento and Dallas) could at least make it to the 8 seed if they were put in the East.

eastern teams seeded 1-4 will each have more wins than their respective 1-4 seeded western teams.
West is better, but the East has several teams in the mix.
If Golden State didn't exist it would be a wide open field.

The 'West is deep' narrative has been overblown for years. There's the Warriors and everyone else. And Boston is as good as any team not named the Warriors.
Let's not pretend like the West hasn't been a one-team conference for years. The Warriors are the problem, not the East.
Yeah, honestly think the top 3 teams are the Raptors, Celtics, & Warriors. The Rockets got worse. 76ers are a flawed team. Lol honestly at them taking Fultz over Tatum (especially since they already had Simmons) & them making Fultz untouchable in the off season in their pursuit of Kawhi.
