This thread should have long ago turned into how pleased we all are that someone is looking into national security issues affecting our democracy via a concerted effort by Russia to meddle in our elections. The players, both Russian and American who had illegal roles in this clear attempt to f with our democracy, will be outed. Then whatever happens to them personally, just happens through the courts and or freezing of assets/ inability to travel. The Russian oligarchs have clearly been given bloody noses. Pure traitors like Manafort, more interested in their personal wealth, will pay.
Key point: we hopefully learn how the Russians have done this and the FBI will continue to be dead serious about an issue our president does not seem the slight bit interested in. Punishing the zRussians and retaliating with more than just sanctions (Give them a test of how well their cyber security works) The President will hopefully keep banging on the Chinese govt and their attempts to steal our private info. And a clear warning is sent via Russian measures that getting into election meddling is seriously a very bad thing and is gonna hurt.
If the president’s family members and other associates lied when questioned about our efforts to uncover this attack on a democracy go down along with this, then fine. (My personal belief Of why our president wants this to go away, therefore his witch hunt BS)
