I'm not disputing they've helped the Houthis. What I'm disputing is that there wouldn't be a fight absent Iran. The Houthis have a legit beef with Saudi Arabia.

Its messy and not that easy to call imo. Just because the Sunnis sought help from Saudi does not mean the Shi’a had good reason to dislodge leaders in the first place. And it’s difficult because it involves both tribal and religious affiliations that have changed since 2015. Right now I would agree the Sunni backed by Saudi have the upper hand and are not the least bit concerned about a slaughter and innocents starving. But neither are Houthi leadership, unless they start losing important ground.
from 8,000 miles away we can disagree about the relative merits of justice in someone else's fight, but it's a gross distortion of the picture to suggest the Houthis are merely doing the bidding of Iran.
I never said the Houthis are doing the bidding of Iran. They are actively engaged with a Shiite partner. And they are ruthless as well. They are not good guys because they are losing in a fight in which the other side is getting more arms from outsiders.
Further, this thing would be over without help from Iran. Not that would be a good thing at this point, but it might have been over earlier. Of course we need to force a stop to this. But we won’t with Saudi and even if we did we would need help from other powers to influence Houthi to stop.
And even then it’s gone too far. Innocent people already face a death sentence with an instant stop right now. It is getting exponentially worse. Eventually it will level out as too many people will be dead. The scale from a % of the population could be the largest slaughter ever recorded.
