Metu seems like an annoying teammate and player to play against from what I have observed from him. He’s young so i won’t be too hard on him.
Expected loss tbh. Portland always please walk home and they were coming off a tough loss. Plus, Dame & CJ were licking their chops when they looked at the scouting report and saw Patty and Bryn's names. Knew they were gonna go off.
portland is in a tier below golden state, houston, okc, pelicans, jazz...
lakers, mavs, suns are all better than they were last season. spurs won't have it easy in the west.
Well he's not moving like a 33 year old. He's barely moving. He is jogging the entire time as if he would die if he hustled a little more.
Look forward to getting them back too. Unfortunately they'll likely only give us offense which Doesn't' seem t be a problem. Still no help on D.
The kawhi trade is so unfair, it should be DeRozan and a good SF or a good big men
If healthy and Walker and Metu prove to be legit, this is a dangerous team, tbh. Just ed up cir stances. Patty needs to go though.
This is discouraging. The Blazers were the type of teams we would dominate with a solid squad.

If some of you guys are really this upset about this loss, I suggest you stop watching the Spurs games this season ... your expectations are way too high. This is a 44-47 win team at best, and very possible to be closer to 40.
This Matt Weiss guy on the post game seems like he is a huge chode. Matt Bonner seems boring when he talks about Spurs.

I would've let them keep pick and got OG instead of Poeltl if possible. We got waxed man...
The Spurs had no answer for the Blazers constant doubles on Aldridge. He actually shot okay, and he did a really good job of moving the ball once the help came. But Pop should have called some quicker plays rather than traditional iso post-ups. Even with DeRozan playing well and Forbes doing okay, the team can't afford a quiet Aldridge, especially when Gay is also quiet. Rudy needs to go to the bench. The starters have decent enough offense, and when Pop does the right thing and starts Gasol again, they'll have even more. But Rudy needs to be stupidly efficient to score enough points with DeRozan and Aldridge in the game. If Gay can't play more than 20-something minutes, then those minutes need to come with the second unit.
This wasn't that bad of a game, considering that it was in Portland (the Spurs lost there by like 40 points one game when they went to the Finals). The offense is real, even though they missed too many easy shots and couldn't get LMA going. The D had good stretches. They can get healthier. They can make small trades. Bryn stepped up on the road, and that will help give compe ion for Patty once guys are back. Bertans looks more comfortable. Marco won't shoot this poorly every game.
Also fwiw, look at all the scores from tonight and this week in general. No one is playing D

The offense is real but you can say that about every team the way the game is played now. We still looked outgunned at times. Walker and White will help though.
Is that the guy who they replaced Monaco with? I hated Monaco so it’s anazing they replaced him with someone even worse than him. I was listening to this guy earlier and I couldn’t take it.

Considering what the second and third options did offensively, it's damned impressive for the team to score so well. Last year's team would have struggled to do anything with LMA being so quiet.
