A healthy Rubio is a damn good player.
Is 26 6 and 3 in his 2nd NBA game worth bumping?
A healthy Rubio is a damn good player.
Idk man. That stepback 3 on Wiggins was nice but other than that nothing stood out too much. Hitting spot-up threes isn't otherworldly. He's white and not 7ft tall like Dirk so he can't just rise over guys on a fadeaway to get his shot whenever he wants. Some of his post-ups on smaller guys looked ugly af even if they did go in. Barnes' fadeaway is much more fluid, imo.
You're a ing racist piece of .

Don’t forget Luka is only 19. Also until he doesn’t get more PG duties on offense you won’t see the real Luka. He’s at his best when he’s main facilitator. So far he’s way too often sent to stand in the corner and hope his teammates will remember they have him on their team too.
You're right. He looked like MJ on those fadeaways. Black quarterbacks are awesome and so are white cornerbacks.
Guy looks in good from what I've seen. Post defense lol. Clearly a foreigner
This guy will command and run this franchise. Physical freak with calm demeaner. Mavs got another Dirk IMO
Two games in I’m not disappointed in the least. He’s everything I thought he would be. But we’re only two games in.
Yeah way too early. If he can be Ginobili-tier then it’s a great pick, if he’s Rubio or worse...bust when you consider the hype. That said I’m pleased with him so far, but judging by the lack of success overall of sub-7 foot Europeans in the NBA, I’m not holding my breath
(Note that outside of the above take I’m mostly talking out of my ass)
Wait, why is Rubio being used as a measuring stick for disappointment? Did people think he was going to be a superstar?
Don'r worry, it's no surprise for anyone.
He was a young Euro who was billed as the next Pistol Pete coming into the NBA and got drafted ahead of Steph Curry, so yeah.
He was hyped as a future perennial all-star. I never really understood why though. He never was all that in Europe either.
Whoa true if huge
I think that says more about how underrated Curry was. Nobody would have guessed he'd become the most dominant point guard of all time (or even top 5 - whatever, insert your opinion here).
