Can’t get forced into this fast tempo. Spurs don’t have enough scorers to put 120+ a night. Slow it down to 90’s and let LMA/Demar work it in the paint. I know Spurs was designed to play fast pace to take advantage of Murray’s rebounding, long strides and athleticism. But without him, it doesn’t work with Forbes and Mills. Walk it, pound it low, pnr with Demar/LMA. Score has to be in the 90’s for Spurs to have a chance in my opinion. GSG
This. Pace was all wrong for the spurs

Pace, yeah. Maybe our current "guards" could handle it if the opposing guards had to push a peanut down the court with their noses. It's when the other team is allowed to run standing up that we have trouble.

Ladies and jellybeans we played an experienced and excellent backcourt in Portland and they played like it. Did they expose our weaknesses? Sure. That's the point of playing. Let's see how we do with the Lakers. Think we'll be 2-1 by tomorrow night. GSG!

Lakers still looking for their first win, could make em dangerous. But if DD continues this level play and LMA decides to join him, we should be able to take care of business

Hopefully the Spurs can help them continue their streak for at least one more game!
