I really wanted the Spurs to get Corey when he came out of Florida. I might settle for him even now. He is more athletic than most of our active roster and could provide the D we sorely need.

If anyone thought he was worth a damn, he wouldn't be. But you know what they say, another team's junk is a Spurs' treasure

I wanted him back then too. It's too late now, though. I don't want guys anymore that passed up the Spurs years ago. It just doesn't work out in my opinion.

It's incredible how incompetent this front office has become. It's like someone injected them with stupid in '15 and did permanent damage.

Predictably, playing 3 C's and Gay at SF in '18 has proven untenable. But because they refuse to waive Pondexter or utilize their open 2-way spot on a PG and wing (should have taken a flier on Reed or Williams), they don't have enough NBA bodies to do anything about their lack of flexibility and depth.
Gay is going on 33 yrs old. With his recent problems with injuries, Spurs need to sell high on him this year to a desperate team trying to add a piece at the deadline for a playoff push.

Attach Poeltl & Milutinov to Patty and ship them to PHX for Tyson Chandlers expiring.

This front office has the bed outside of the draft the past 3 summers and it was a factor for Kawhi to start thinking about LA.

That’s strange, it’s obvious that we need a true pg To replace Murray.

maybe they don’t do nothing because White will come back soon ( pop said 2-4 weeks ).

Gay is one a one year contract and signed a cheap one at that. I think Gay is staying the course and he will get a 3 year deal probably starting 9mil with a partial guarantee in the last year. That's my guess. Gay won't fetch Spurs much unless a team wants to make a push for a finals run and will attach a prospect or pick, which spurs won't need. If Spurs don't want Gay for the future, they will let him expire. If spurs want to create space for next season, they can trade Patty and 1st for Shumpert from Kings. Then pay Gasol out in the off season while letting Gay go. Just glancing at the numbers, that would give the Spurs about 10 to 15mil in cap space (not that much in this climate), but could create more by moving Bertans.

Don't really get the last part tbh. It's always been said Kawhi just wants to play basketball. Why would he want to go to a team like the Clippers or the Lakers before LeBron, a team that wasn't a playoff team)?

My biggest concern is we have three future starters that are made out of China. Can we really count on White and Walker to be able to play a full season? I like Murray but his arms are bigger then his legs I always think there going to break like twigs when he taking hard to the rim.

Right now we have only 3 real starters Deroz, Rudy, and LMA , after that our second tier would be Bertans, Gasol, and Ferrari. After that we got scrubs, Mills, Forbes, Cunningham, Quincy, Poodle.

This next draft may be the most critical draft we have ever had as we
need to find two players who can start

I think they eventually find a rhythm to play in. Right now they are young and learning ways of their body and NBA play. Once they have more experience they will understand what they can take and how to play in a safer way. Still a concern moving forward though for sure.

I have faith on White. Not so much faith on current Pop, tbh. Anyway, with Murray out for the season, my worries about White not getting playing time dissapeared. In fact, I don't know why you got your panties in a bunch with that comment, I'm giving the FO and the coaching stuff a cop out for having players injured.

It's actually pretty funny that you continue claiming that other people troll and that have shticks, yet you have become one of the biggest trolls on this forum. The worst thing is that you do it unintentionally.
