If kawhi wanted to win an NBA championship he could have done so in 2015, 2016, or 2017. He sucked, sucked, then quit. I am very eager to see him confront adversity without being able to blame pop. He's a nice player, but not built to be a champion.

Yeah it's the spurs fault nephew turned out to be a little and asked for a trade.
The Spurs won 67 ing games and we’re on their way to win game 1 of the WCF KL goes down they lose and then a couple months later he just decides he’s a little now and wants to leave SA? No something obviously went down with Kawhi and PATFO. no player wins 67 games and jumps ship just because.

He's always been a front runner. The raptors will win 55-60 games much like the Spurs did the past few years but the real test will come playoff time.

Like sell their souls to the devil? Our situation looks bleak right now mainly because Murray went down but I'm happy Pop stood by his principle and didn't kiss that 's ass just for some extra wins.
Just do everything other franchises do to keep their stars happy. Specially when you are a small market team.

Jakob ing Poeltl. What an alcoholic piece of our GM is. European bigs are supposed to shoot 3's, and this stupid has a hard-on for Milutinov and Poeltl.
Good point. FO continues to zig while everyone zags. How's that been working out?

coaches don't win games, players do. I think pop got everything out of KL possible. KL just could not take the pressure. Now if you want a coach who does not work to get players to reach their potential you have choices around the league.

What will it say about Pop, his system and the Spurs if Danny has his best season after looking like the past few seasons?

leonard is not someone to responds to happiness.....how do you read someone like that? I think pop knows how to manage certain types, but most people can't handle sociopaths. You can't shine this turd!

Kawhi is the favorite to win MVP with a rookie head coach.

Meanwhile crater face has had Aldridge, Leonard, and Simmons all unhappy within the past 400 days. Looks like he's one of those choices, tbh...

raptors have a lot of room to grow.

i guess cause the season’s so early but sometimes they forget they have kawhi on offense.

they were solid against the celtics... when do the raptors play the warriors?

Don't want to sound like a but this sucks. Leonard is my favourite player to watch.

Imagine having your favourite player, who also happens to be arguably the best player in the World, playing for your team, and suddenly you don't have it anymore.

That sets a bad, irresponsible precedent when said star was clearly in the wrong in terms of ethics and business sense. If anything, PATFO demonstrated a lot of patience in putting up with his bull , tbh.

They're playing the f'n Hornets tbh. You can slit your wrists if/when Kawhi drops 40 on the Dubs or they beat the Celtics in a playoff series.

But if you're gonna swallow the barrel every time the Raps beat up on a lottery team then it's gonna be a long season.....

I'm talking about reasonable things. Having a good relationship with his manager, asking his opinion about roster's moves, etc.

The Raptors are clearly better than Boston. It's really not that close, tbh.

He couldn't take the pressure but he took the Spurs to the WCF's with a supporting cast and a senile head coach. "Gee, Where did I put Tim Duncan?"

I tried to change LA into another player and that was my fault. -

Im going to let Demar be the player he's always been -

One of the "greatest" coaches of all time (who is totally not a product of Tim) has no choice but to let ISO ballers play their games. The Scott Brooks of the 2000s

But how could they have done that when he went out of his way to avoid them whenever they tried to reach out to him? The left the gym in New York when Spurs people showed up to see him.
