I swear LMA and DD have high fived more in 3 games than LMA and Nephew did in 3 years.
Choke artists are more comfortable with their own kind tbqh.

It was definitely too late for me to catch it. It started at 10:30 pm my time and I was in bed then. I am glad I didn’t even attempt to watch it since it ended up so late. I didn’t think they would win it so I am pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to a review from someone.

The Lakers are really bad to have this poor start to their season...

Definitely a fun game to watch if you're a Spurs fan. We can score points but, damn we suck on D. Sure wish we still had Danny.

They are far better in the P&P/ P&R than LMA and ColdNephew ever were together.

Maybe some idiot GM will see that and offer something we need for him.
Seems like we need Bryn ourselves - at least for this season. Who knows what kind of player he will be at the end of the year?

Great win by the Spurs. Both Aldridge and DeRozan played well. Overall this was an entertaining game and even sweeter Spurs got the win thanks to Mills game winner and LeBron missing the 2 crucial free throws which definitely helped the Spurs.

Gotta love that both Spurs wins so far have been made about the losing team by ESPN.

Derozan should have hadd 17 assists. LMA missed 3 wide open j's that he usually makes. DeRozan vs Oladipo should have a great match up next game. Let's go spurs.

DeRozan should easily win player of the week awards if he puts up another big game. He had 6 player of the week awards last season. Unfortunately after his monster 52 point game against the Bucks, he fell off completely due to depression or something like that.

Players get tired early in season just look at LeBron missing those two easy free throws tired legs.

noticed as much lol even Yahoo! has LeBron upon loading the site. I wonder how many writers had to burn their drafts on James's first win.

I'd give LeBron a pass if he were playing another Western Conference squad with an established roster but the Spurs revamped the team arguably more than the Lakers did. They can say they played without Rondo and Ingram but the Spurs were without Murray and White. Lead was razor thin so it could've been anyone's ball game. It didn't help that DeRozan faded down the stretch. Amazing stat line, but I hope he learns to take charge in clutch situations. Glad the Spurs have some vets with championship experience; I won't be averse to having Mills or Belinelli take the big shots while Aldridge and DeRozan score in bunches.

Too lazy to quote DeRozan's stats choking against the Cavaliers. Will post some other time.

Gimme a break...Spurs woulda won by 20+ if the NBA entertainment refs didn't start calling made fouls on the Spurs starting in the 2nd quarter and on.Lakers were in the bonus so early the rest of the game it was laughable. Combine that with not calling Lakers fouls...smdh,Lebron taking 4 steps to the basket and a phantom and 1.... is disgraceful, anyone who compares LBJ to MJ is a clown.
Fakers couldn't even win with the whole league in on it

there were really only 2 things that allowed this game to go into overtime. Popovich's first subs ution and DD playing like in the 4th and overtime. He could not buy a basket and then at the end of the 4th he wasn't even confident in taking a shot. I'm NOT anticipating the playoffs with him this year. You're 30 and gassing like that in the 3rd game of the season is a problem.

Walton just blasted the refs for not calling fouls. To be fair, the slap on the arm of LeBron was a foul. Couldn't watch the game to see how it went on both sides.

The one play, a laker stepped out of bounds and the refs ignored it and the biggest most blatant cheating of the game is when Lebron called a timeout. They knew he didn't have a timeout left and ignored it

Except guys usually take time to get their legs under them. 3 games in + the season starting earlier? makes perfect sense.

LeBron called a timeout when they didn't have any before he shot the game-tying 3. That's a technical and the Lakers lose. He should thank the refs for that alone.
Forbes got fouled by LeBron on the missed 3-pointer, Hart stepped out of bounds, McGee bearhugged Forbes on the Kuzma dunk, I could go on and on. The Lakers got some home cooking, besides that we only scored 2+ points off of free throws cause we missed like 10. So Walton doesn't have a point here. He's just scared Tyron Lue might have his job soon

practice is supposed to be hard. Games should be the fun/easy part. You suffer in practice so you don't during the games. But as a poster already said, this is who DD is and I don't think Toronto is gonna miss him
