And there was nothing we could do about it sadly.. He pitched a fit and quit on the team. He probably could have played the entire second half of the season last year, he just refused out of spite. I doubt it will be the last time he acts like this. Long season. If he gets hurt again, the rehab process and timeline will be telling.

I hope Kawhi goes to an LA team next summer so we know that was the plan all along. If he resigns with Toronto then we know the Spurs actually had a chance to keep him if they weren’t so busy sucking up to LMA

I’ll take Kawhi and no LMA any day of the week. We ran through Kawhi in 2017 and we looked damn good while LMA choked over and over. Should’ve done more to keep Kawhi happy.
