Does it tick anyone else off that Leonard is playing like he Hasn't missed a step. Almost as if he didn't miss a whole season starting right before training camp to a mysterious injury?

Leonard and/or his managers played the Spurs like a fiddle.
No Spurs fan can overlook that based on all evidence presented.

Spurs need to go after Magic for tampering and sue Kawhi for last year's salary. Saying nothing hurts them more than thinking free agents won't want to sign here.

popovich put a 60% freethrow shooter in the game to ice it with seconds left. We were coming out of a time out and Popovich the genius put a 60% FREETHROW SHOOTER IN THE GAME TO FINISH IT!!! I don't know if you're familiar with FT percentages, but 60% is bad.
Pop made so many mistakes on those last few possessions. You could literally play that scenario over 200 times and only lose once if you look at the stats.

I'm not defending Leonard, and am condemning his Silent Treatment M.O. That was bull .
Having said that, I don't know that we'll ever know what truly came down with the injury.
Possible it was certainly better in late 17/early 18, but the extra 8 months he took (some legit healing? + completely ting on the Spurs?) gave the injury enough time to completely heal?

Like I said in another thread, Kawhi is the smart one. He got out of San Antonio because he saw the bull they were surrounding him with. Popovich doesn't want good players. He wants robots that kiss his ass to inflate his ego
Pop's got to look into the mirror at some point. First LMA and then Kawhi. Most coaches don't get away with alienating their star players. Pop's the only one that can do that.

That's so dumb. Duncan couldn't gaurd the perimeter anyway and Bosh and everyone on that floor could hit a 3. It was a smart play. Hindsight always 20/20.

I hope that er fails terribly at the end THIS year. No injury or anythings just a ty end to the season. Just need some payback for him fukin the spurs. After that we're cool. "Tell your to be cool!"... " Be cool honey-bunny..." After a scenario like that then i would even welcome that back.

Yeah, I don't blame Kawhi for those misses. I kept saying that Kawhi was shaky those whole playoffs at the free throw line, and in one game against the Warriors in Oakland, TD had to take Kawhi to half court after he missed a free throw and console him as he looked like a nervous wreck at the line. He shouldn't have been put in the position in the first place. Pop's coaching in the 4th quarter was maybe his worst of all time, especially to close out a Championship game. I was mad as when the 4th quarter started with that lineup that he had out on the floor. I wouldn't even play that lineup in a crucial regular season game let a lone a closeout Championship game. It actually still pisses me off that he takes no responsibility for that loss at all. Says the players could have done a lot of stuff better, and that it wasn't the last 27 seconds that cost them the game.

You're right, Durant was more honorable. I'm just saying thisa trend. It's not all San Antonio.
Yeah, at least Durant honored his contract with okc.

They had a similar sequence against OKC the next year where they needed to guard the perimeter at the end of game 6 and Pop kept TD on the floor and he helped the defense and contesting the shot. In that game 6 in '13, TD was playing like a possessed man in that final game. I have no doubt if he had been on the floor for those final possessions he would have made a difference in addition to helping get the rebound.

Again HIndsight. Boris Diaw was a darn good defender too at that time. It appeared like a one shot play. Crazy how a tip bounces right into Ray Allen for a corner 3. Anyway. I'm sure Duncan would've done a fine job too but who knows maybe he gets burnt on a pick n roll and they hit a step back 3. Happened all the time at that point in time for Duncan. 20/20.

I wouldn't call what he's done so far either "crashing" or "burning".

The best thing that could happen for those of us who aren't Laker or Clipper fans would be for Kawhi to win the championship with the Raptors. It might be harder for him to bolt to LA in that situation. I don't think he really cares that he can be the new King of the East if he stays in Toronto, so anything short of a championship with them probably won't affect his plans next summer. Who knows, maybe that wouldn't stop him from leaving either. Can't really predict with that guy.

People have something to pay attention to in the eastern conference this year, which is part of why he's getting so much attention. There's actually a little drama with who will come out of that conference now that LBJ is west.

I think his uncle really wants him in LA and from what we know, he does what his uncle tells him to do. So it will be very interesting if he resigns with the Raptors

The Raptors are playing better without KaWho. Out for another game. Seems like I've heard this story before. It looks like his career is already crashing and burning. Crazy Uncle Dennis is watching million$ fly out the window. Uncle Dennis is going to be back on food stamps and living in Section 8 housing if KaWhitter don't get his ass on the court.

I don't want kawhi to get injuried or anything, I just want the Spurs to win it all or at least lose to the champion putting a good fight.
As for kawhi I hope he goes to the Lakers.
Having to put up with that amount of reporters would be his punishment.
