Sox aren’t meant to win this game. Freak out right there.

Bunting with a righty on a force play at third was pretty stupid.

the balls on Maeda. That could've been really bad.
He had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Betts about to bat in a run or two, otherwise the Doyers finish this in the bottom of the inning imo.

If Nunez ends up safe or Maeda misthrows it the Red Sox score.

Not that hard a throw to worry about misthrowing it.

Yes, Mookie, that's a swing. Go back to the dugout and eat a chicken or something.

It is when you have the runner that close, especially for the third baseman. Also need to consider the situation. Would rather have the out at first with runners on 2nd/3rd than the bases loaded with no outs.

You just do the motion; very fundamental play.

There's nothing fundamental about throwing to third on a bunt, especially with the game in the balance at that point and the runner at second coming in hot. A lot of things can go wrong. The fundamental play is to get the out at first.

Strangest playoff game I've ever watched. Even stranger than last season's 13-12 game 5. I've never seen offenses look this bad. And the pitching aside from Buehler hasn't necessarily been dominant. Porcello left a lot of meatballs. As have the Dodgers relievers.
