It wouldn't say that. They got too hung up on getting max players and signed bad or mediocre ones two years in a row. Carlisle is a great coach for making bad players look decent, but he's not great at using actual talent, which is why guys like Rondo and Noel didn't work out. The FO hasn't been scared to make moves for guys. They just haven't been very lucky at getting the right guys to fit what Rick wants to do.

Yeah, a couple of folks straight-up freaked out about it. It was weird. Like, it would have been one thing to trade a first for him or something, but he's fine depth and compe ion for Bertans. Team is lucky to have him, even if they should be hoping to draft a better defensive forward this summer to replace him.

On a different note, DD has 6 assists already. I always laughed at the casuals who said DD is a ballhog.. the guy is unselfish and the perfect decoy.
I know it's the cool thing to do, to complain about everything here. But I mean it was obvious he could be useful in some capacity.
Remember we almost lost to the mavs in 2014. After the thunder series that was the most tense series that year.
