Nobody is saying you can’t change the cons ution, or that some parts might not be outdated. What’s being said is that there’s a process for that which has a much higher bar than an Act of Congress or Executive Order. Rightly so, because rights granted by the Cons ution are there to protect minorities from the mob of the majority.
It’s important that bar is kept very high, or the next liberal president might see fit to change the 2nd Amendment unilaterally, or the next orange fascist might want to decide which speech is permissible or not.
