I'm down to give Dak one last year of evaluation under the tutelage of a new head coach, offensive coordinator, QB coach, AND veteran backup. It is painfully obvious that Dak has been in decline the past two years. I thought coaches were supposed to make players better, not worse.

It's painfully obvious that Rush, White, and Moore are a huge step down from Romo, Buttfumble, and Wilson.

I was going to find Daks MSU stats and.....see he was never really accurate. I did find that info, the guy had a great senior season, and then that historically great rookie season. He should be further along than he is but the potential is obviously there.

I believe it's mostly on the coaching until we get new coaches and things don't improve.

Maybe Dak has become too much of a celebrity QB. Too many endorsements, too much time out, not enough time in the film room and practice field. He keeps reverting back to bad habits, he was awful in training camp, and there hasn’t been talk of him working his ass off. However, he has been seen out during the week.

I have talked about that endorsement thing before, I don't like it for young guys who really haven't proven anything. That should be for the Peytons, Rodgers, etc.

Young guys with a ton of $$$$$$$$$$.

    With you 100%.

Yeah, Williams is a waste. Makes no sense drafting that little mf. There had to have been a Wisconsin lineman available at that point somewhere..
He got his knee scoped and should be out this week. I wouldn't say he is a waste at all, just in a bad spot without Frederick there and some iffy coaching first half of the season from Alexander. If he bulks up he should be OK.

I have a hard time seeing this Cowboys roster at 3-5 with Jimmy Johnson at the helm.

Shocked to hear Aikman unload like he did, that is a big deal.

While Prescott deserves another season**** under a new regime how can you sign him to a multi year big $$$$$ contract?

I do wonder just how much being a celeb now with a TON of endoresments has to do with Daks obvious regression. And, Zeke has to be jealous.

**** up above I said he wasn't the answer, I'm backing off that if he gets different coaching.

This pussy Sean Lee has spent 75% of his career hurt. I hope this POS never plays another down in Dallas.

He has played in 91 games in his 8 season career, been involved in over 600 tackles. The guy is an obvious stud. Two bowl pro bowls since 2015.

Age difference I'd imagine Thomas is 30 and Cooper is 24. Dallas probably overpaid too tbh
Thomas's cap number is 10 times higher than Cooper's.

He's been injured every single season except one. He is a beast when he can stay on the field, but that's the issue. He's better off as the LB coach.

He does average over 10 games a season of high quality elite LB play. How can you dump that?

He's trash and become even more fragile over the last 3 years. Simple answer. His contract and Vander Esch's emergence.

He's played in 45 games since 2015, and I can't imagine anyone using trash and Sean Lee in the same sentence. He is without question a great player.

    2018 4-3 Outside Linebacker Rankings

    1. Sean Lee, Dallas

The Cowboys' defense can't function effectively without him in the lineup. Still struggles with injuries, having never completed a 16-game season during eight years in the NFL.

First, nobody gives a about your bull copy and paste wiki jobs and pictures.. Second, the opinion on Lee is shared among plenty of other Cowboys fans and obviously the Cowboys coaching staff. Nobody will dispute he's a great player and at the top of the chart for position when healthy.

The Cowboys surprisingly drafted Vander Esch last season over more glaring positions of need, because of how bad the defense became when he was off the field. The fact is they obiously KNEW he was going to miss a ton of this season. With Lee, it's not a matter of will he be injured, but how many games will he miss that season.

He cannot stay healthy. Bottom line. He has NEVER once played a full season, and his injuries have become more frequent in the past 3 seasons. This trend has followed him through his entire career, dating back to Penn State. The only reason he fell to the second round was because of him being injury prone.

Let's talk about Linehan and the power he has. I read that he (in addition to Garrett) was one of the main reasons they got rid of Romo/Dez/Wilson. He didn't like Romo constantly changing his calls at the LOS. He, like Garrett is ing hard headed and stuck in his ways.

Enter Dak. When Romo went down, Linehan was successfully able to run his offense through Dak with no resistance. No audibles, no kills. Fast forward two years later and the vanilla scheme no longer works. The chickens came to roost. Everyone who was bashing Romo wishes he was back.

Linehan couldn't win with Stafford at QB. He has no chance with Dak. Garrett on the other hand was a struggling QB coach before we came out of nowhere and anointed him OC. We have the two worst coaches in the league for developing a QB not to mention Kellen ing Moore. Imagine if had gotten Wentz instead of Dak. You think with this brain dead coaching staff he'd be as good as he is?

Calling a stud who everyone agrees is as good as it gets at what he does ....trash...calls for some other opinion than mine, which I showed you. And if you go anywhere that talks football you will read the same thing. Trash????....try...injury prone.

You have any idea how fast Lee would be goobled up if releashed?

He misses two/three games a season, what he brings in those 13ish is well worth that.
