Illegal immigration makes the entirety of the Dem platform illogical. What you'll end up with is a massive magnet for low performing people to milk the massive welfare state Dems want. This will require high taxes to support the welfare state with ever growing populace from other countries trying to milk it. The high taxes will repel all the great talent that currently comes here to have a great life. The next Elon Musk won't come here and neither will all the other talent. The illegal immigrants however will have more incentive to come here.
