It’s official Whites available for tonight
Miami will need Josh Richardson to continue his strong play, averaging 26.3 points over the last four games. He was a huge reason the Heat were able to beat the Detroit Pistons on Monday night, and end a three-game losing skid.
It’s likely that we will see the new NBA’s fast pace tonight, as both teams big men are dealing with injuries.
Hassan Whiteside is listed as day-to-day still, and Pau Gasol is out.
Bam Adebayo got the most recent start at center to fill Whiteside’s shoes, and had a solid 11-point and eight-rebound performance, reassuring the Heat of their young core’s potential.

Patty's an outcast on the team now. All he can do now is hang out with rookies and a guy he claims as his protege.
That's awesome. One of the few players I was excited to watch this year.
Hopefully he stops getting injured too.
Surprised we haven't heard leaks about him practicing. Glad he is back so soon!
Great news about D. White, he’s really a Swiss Army knife type of player. Can Spot up, move well off ball, handle, good defensive instincts. His on ball defense against the Lillard, Westbrook types is going to be a big question though. Also I’ve noticed Mezi hasn’t had any burn in the G league yet, could that be good news for Lonnie?? Being a higher draft pick and the teams highest draft pick in a long time, I don’t believe pop will just redshirt him this year. We’ll see.
Miami Heat are -2 favorites tonight.
update: Hassan Whiteside is expected to play tonight.
Good news is DeMar DeRozan always plays well in Miami.
Last 4 games against Miami Heat ,DD is putting up impressive numbers except assists are down.
32.3 PPG
5 RBG
47.5% FG
I expect him to be a little more assertive here and dominate the heatles.
Just how rare is averaging 27 points and 6 assists per game on 50 percent shooting? It's only been done 12 times in the history of the league by five different players.
You've probably heard of them.
MVP Finish 2017-18 LeBron James 2nd 2015-16 Stephen Curry 1st 2013-14 LeBron James 2nd 2011-12 LeBron James 1st 2009-10 LeBron James 1st 1991-92 Michael Jordan 1st 1989-90 Michael Jordan 3rd 1988-89 Michael Jordan 2nd 1987-88 Larry Bird 2nd 1986-87 Larry Bird 3rd 1984-85 Larry Bird 1st 1962-63 Oscar Robertson 3rd
As you can see, none of the players to do this finished worse than third in MVP voting, with the 12 seasons averaging out to a finish of 1.8.

THROWBACK 2015-2016 season. Eastern Conference semi finals GAME 7. DeRozan drops 28/8 to lead the raptors to their first Eastern finals.
DD dropping 40/6 on the Heat
Miami by 8+ tbh, i think it's an easy cover.
Yeah I already took spurs +2. I just know DD will go off on heat tonight as he always does. Should be a W.
ban me if we lose
Go Heat!
Heat by 1 :P
