Walker went to University of Miami, I'm guessing he talks to Miami area media

Well, LWIV is pretty much my only hope for the season right now. The Spurs don't currently look like a playoff team. Hopefully Derrick stays healthy and gets better after playing a few games.

Yep. People forget that Walker is also a midget who can't shoot the three. Not saying he won't eventually be good, but he isn't saving this roster anytime soon.

lol at those who thought White was anything but a G-leaguer. A point guard who s his pants every time he dribbles. I can't believe Forbes is actually better than G-leaguer White. Fathead v2 has arrived, and he's worse than fathead v1. Holy .

Yet he looked good during the summer. The Fathead Jr. nickname he immediately got when he was drafted is more apt than I thought.

    Summer League star.
    Regular season scrub.

Really?! His first night back after being out nearly three weeks, he plays poorly (to be expected with conditioning and rust issues) and fans want to write him off?

Y'all are the most fickle, shortsighted people I've ever seen openly root against it's own team's players (and coach) in a second.

ST is a toxic place when spurs don't have a 0.700+ record

White improves the defense a lot tbh. He just needs time to build chemistry with the starters.

Today's game was really physical (well done by the Heat as it was their only chance of getting the W without Dragic, Wade, Waiters) and it didn't help Derrick's return to compe ion. You can't blame the kid for not being effective on his first game of the season after a month out being injured.

White has shown more passing ability today than any other player this season. Nobody else apart from DeRozan and Gasol can create off the pass.

Patience is not a cool concept nowadays but it's quite important with young and/or injured players.

Agree on everything. The energy level was obviously on Heat's favor...we just were short in effort except for Mills. All 50/50 balls were for them.

“We didn’t die, but we sure got outplayed,” Popovich said. “I thought we were soft, undisciplined, lacking grunt factor. I thought the Heat were much more physical and committed.”
Same story vs Orlando Magic. Time for coaches to put some pressure on players and for leaders to step up and play HARD. The team can't allow another weak start from Aldridge and DeRozan. Also, Cunningham must play hard every second he's on the court, otherwise his not helping but hurting our chances to win.
