Lot of really bad shots taken tonigght by Spurs. Seemed desperate at times but I guess when you get that many shots blocked you do get desperate.

Not only do they put together one of the least talented, athletic teams in the league....but a team with zero heart/fight.....

Terrible roster construction + a bottom 10 coach who doesn't even understand basic staggering of minutes between your best players or your best playmakers....a coach who is so arrogant that he s the team over in the first 3 minutes of the game....has the shortest leash on our only competent PG on the roster while Bryn Forbes gets the greenest ing light in the league....

AND they did it against some of the worst teams in the East

holy this season is gonna get so, so much worse....

Pop is phoning it in. It's obvious with the Kawhi trade that he just wants to field a team that's respectable enough to not be in the lottery. Win 40+ games and maybe make the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed. His original plan was to retire with Duncan but he stayed on to keep Aldridge happy(but more likely because he assumed Kawhi would be the next franchise cornerstone like TD and DRob before him). Kawhi ed this franchise over pretty good but I really don't blame him. Spurs prioritized crybaby Aldridge's concerns, handed out 50 mil to Gasol/Mills, didn't want to hang onto defensive hustle players like Dedmon. The writing was on the wall - Spurs didn't want to compete with GS. Kawhi dumped them for greener pastures.

The offense sucked..if your main offensive players are shooting poorly you will have a hard time to win games.

Looks like the LMA from two years ago that came into camp out of shape and used the regular season to get back in shape. The dude is already 33, needs to stop doing that .
