Damn. Planning to take the folks. Grew up with classic rock.
Quality remade concert clips?
Meru 10/10
Mountain 8/10
Amazing cinematography and breathtaking scenary in both films but Meru is on another level of greatness.

Hmmm. Meru is one of those docs I keep thinking about and then finding a true crime doc instead. I might check it out this weekend.
Its not your usual group of guys climb mountain, cheers.
A lot more to it then that. The journey, setbacks, near death moments. All around great stuff.
Cool. You hit the nail on the head about why I haven't watched it yet.
From the pic on Netflix, it looked like it might be "Bros Climb a Mountain".
The TV trailer for "Robin Hood" with Jaime Foxx looks like some SNL parody
lol triggered by saturday night live. imagine that.
No one can have an emotional reaction to something without some re breaking out PTSD related terms?
Holy ...doc made by a former cult member who was the filmographies for the cult. Pretty interesting.
7/10
I concur. It looks awful
I like Mountain, will have to check out Meru
Uncle Drew 5/10
The first 10 minutes were funny. The rest was predictable corny old people humor.
I had to look up who was playing Uncle Drew. I couldn't believe it was Irving. He was really good. Webber was pretty good too.
Johnny English 3 - 6/10... It had some funny moments that surprised me, but the ending was not that good. If you liked the first 2, you'll like this one.
There's actually a Johnny English trilogy?
the ?
yeah... i saw the first one and it was fine. didnt think sequels but be worth my time though
Well...there's 9 Ernest movies.
Very good. Main actor did a phenomenal Freddie. Saw it with my folks, great experience together.
LOL. What the is that.
Ernest Goes to Camp and Ernest Scared Stupid are classics. Timeless classics.
I do remember seeing a trailer for a basketball Ernest movie with Kareem Abdul Jabar. Dude has worked with Bruce Lee and Jim Varney. What a bad ass.
And I just googled it. It's called Slam Dunk Ernest. And then...there it was, possibly the greatest piece of cheese I never heard of but need to see- ERNEST GOES TO AFRICA. And there he is, on the film cover in a giant African tribal hunter mask. I think I know what I'm watching tonight.
Don't get me wrong. I've seen several. And they were always a go to when my kid was younger. Yestereday when I Googled to see how many there were, they had short summaries of each.
Which are funny in their own right. Here are some of the funnier ones.
1. Ernest Goes to Camp (1987)
Ernest, a lovable loser who works as a summer camp handyman and dreams of becoming a guidance councilor, must find a way to inspire a group of juvenile delinquents as well as stop a shady strip mining company from closing the camp.
4. Ernest Scared Stupid (1991)
Ernest accidentally unleashes an ugly troll that plots to transform children into wooden dolls in the town of Briarville, Missouri.
Ernest Rides Again (1993)
Buffoonish Ernest and his dimwitted pal Abner unearth a huge cannon reputed to contain the crown jewels of England.
7. Slam Dunk Ernest (1995 Video)
Ernest P. Worrell becomes a basketball star after an angel bearing an uncanny resemblance to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar gives him a pair of magic sneakers.
8. Ernest Goes to Africa (1997)
The le says it all. There's a mix up involving stolen diamonds which Ernest has (naturally) made into a yo-yo and given to his would be girlfriend, Rene. But Rene wants a man of action, ...
See above synopsis. But here's the pic. LMAO.

And if anyone remembers...this all started with some commercials he did for Braums. They took that character and proceeded to make 9 movies. And giving Ernest (Jim Varney) a net worth (per internet) of 12-15 million.
