Yes, Kraków is a must visit. I was a couple months ago. It is the cultural capital of Poland. Hitler kept it intact most because he planned to make Kraków the capital of the Eastern side of his Reich. Created a diagram

I would love to move to Kraków but might have to settle for Warszawą or Wrocław. More IT jobs available.

Prague and Budapest will for better and worse remain more open than any city in Poland. Pot or drugs no point of even asking. Good portion are enjoying the Lager beer though

Hitler was only defeated because he was stupid and opened the war on two fronts. We only see the history from the US side but it was the Soviets that terminally bled the third Reich into submission. If Hitler had left Stalin alone the EU would be speaking German today.
