I just don't understand how people look at this team and think it can compete with any team in the West outside GS. Yes, LMA and DDR are stars and are good enough to get a team to the playoffs, but the rest of the pieces around them fit horribly. Like, did Pop and RC seriously think having Forbes, Mills and Beli on the team together made sense? Or having Cunningham as the only defensive wing (who sucks ass on offense)? I understand Murray going down hurt their plans, but that's no excuse for these personnel decisions. Been said ad nauseum, I know.

N despite that, they've been the best defensive team in the league the last few weeks, and went from last to 13th in that regard.

Meh, the Kings are at an all time high in confidence and energy and are well coached. They're also super young and athletic. Teams that run like that have always given us fits.

White isn't a wing, and while the improving defense is nice to see it coincides with the Spurs playing ty offensive teams outside NO (AD played through an elbow injury in that one). At the end of the day there's only so far a defensive system can take ty defenders, and we're starting to see the limits. No problems with Gay, I like what he's been bringing on both ends.
