The Kings made adjustments at halftime to stop the Spurs from getting as good of looks. White didn't get any further assists. Only upside there is that he got like two minutes without DeRozan. Still, DeMar played way too much considering he has someone to spell him.

This wasn't a bad loss. The Kings may make the playoffs, and losing to them on their homecourt with all the other going on is understandable. This was the first loss, however, where we really get a sense for how this team is going to play. (A playoff-quality game with a decently full rotation). The results weren't great. The D was okay -- the Kings just hit way too many semi-contested threes. The O was bad in the second half. If this were a series, I wouldn't feel pessimistic about SA's chances. But this does feel to be about their depth in quality right now. They're more of a 4-7 than a 2 or 3.
Chin, if the Kings are still in the playoff race by early January, I'll give you the entire farm. Holy "wasn't a bad loss"

The Kings "adjustment" was sending a double to LMA and Pop couldn't even figure that out and left Cunningham in for most of the 4th when Rudy was actually balling crofl

Aldridge must've used up all his juice last year. Such a let down so far. I think Pop is trying to integrate White in and not allowing DeRozan to do what he did the first 6 games for us. I'm fine with that to see if it works but we need to start winning more games and putting DeRozan in position to do his thing. I've always thought Derrick White could play off the ball too which is what it seems like needs to happen because DD is a better pg than White.

Can't play defense for and can't consistently be good at the one thing they get paid to do. They'll have their one good game out of like every four or five. This front office is ing .
Can anyone realistically make the argument that Walker couldn't do any better than Forbes this season?

Pop reminds me of a kid with toy. He acts like he's going to let other people do their thing but you know real soon he's going to revert to "my toy". Pop will never allow ball dominant stars to shine on the Spurs. He has too many experiments he wants to try.

That's not how Pop works though. You know that, I know that, everyone knows that. Bryn put in his time and it wouldn't be fair. This season isn't meant for Walker.

The Kings are 8-6 with a harder schedule than SA has had. They might end up falling apart, but they aren't actually bad now. We're not talking about dropping one to Phoenix here. You aren't going to win every game, and this is one of those where you just "okay, whatever" and move on. It was no different than that game they dropped to Minny last year. happens, and when you lose 25-35 times a year, there will be some to average or slightly below-average teams.

Bruh, constantly expecting the Spurs to lose doesn't give you special clarity over other posters when those losses happen.

To think Pop started TP at 19. Why can't we have that Pop back?

I used up my "okay, whatever" games when the team was blowing chodes against Orlando and Miami. Guess I gotta wait for the loss at Phoenix on Wed for the "Suns are actually a pretty tough matchup against the Spurs" post-game analysis

I thought the Spurs could beat Orlando at home and a Kings team that will be out of the playoff race by late December, definitely my bad.

Also my bad for thinking Pop would have a basic semblance of how to use his players 10+ games into the season and the team wouldn't be complete dog outside of Derozan.

Well, on the plus side Forbes is starting to look like the ty player all here believed he was.
On the down side our other option is Mills.

The Miami game might be an "okay, whatever". Might be. The Orlando game was a "throw out that film" game. Losing to an average team is normal though. By all statistical counts, SAC is an average team so far. The Spurs, by those same measures, are also an average team. Add in homecourt, and it's not surprising SA would lose. It'd be one thing if we were expecting SA to be a contender or well above-average team. But I don't think any of us were, so we shouldn't be surprised when they lose a game of average difficulty.

In a rational world, the other option would be Walker when he's healthy.

First one wasn't your bad, though ignore that SAC has been good this year did you no favors. It is your fault for assuming Pop would have a good rotation and game plan down. That doesn't usually happen for a couple of months. Even in 2014, we were ing about the way he used players at this point.

Tonight was easily a winnable game with just common sense rotations + a modi of Pop giving a instead of just throwing his hands up when his garbage lineup does something stupid AF. That's why I consider it not only a bad loss, but a terrible loss. Easily worst of the season tbh.

Defense was disgusting. Bljecisa went all KD on us nobody could stay in front of Fox and Bogdonavick was giving us the business. Even scrubs like Shumpert and Giles we’re giving it to us.
And too many no shows on offense Forbes , 50 mills , Marco , White , etc... and then in crunch time LMA and DD the bed tbh. Suprised we kept it close. On to the next L tbh

Pop taking two months to figure out Bryn + Patty don't work and Rudy should be playing over Cunningham. Glad he came back for the farewell tour tbh.
