Spurs at this point are 7-5, good for 5th in the brutal 2018-2019 West standings. One more loss, and our beloved Spurs will be 7-6. Guess where this puts our Spurs? Tied for 11th, behind the LeBrons and just barely ahead of the Rockettes (who are improving)! GSG

Guess who we play this Saturday!

    Guess!

He's likely out but they won't need him when they got Quinn Cook to on Mills/Forbes/White

this has been a .500 at best, most likely losing record kind of team that started off against a very weak schedule. only team spur have beaten that is above .500 is laker and they were missing players...

The schedule for the next 10 days after the Phoenix must-win looks terrifying. @LAC(SEGABABA), B2B GSW+@NOL, MEM, and B2B @IND+@MIL. Spurs are not winning any of those games without playing better as a team and could lose even playing well. Get ready to see them at the bottom of the West. And don't panic.

Injuries will start affecting some teams sooner or later and losing streaks will arrive. Only the Suns look already out of the playoff run so its about time the West standings clarify as teams are playing each other on a daily basis.

This Spurs team doesn't have the talent to allow itself not to play good basketball. There is no margin for mistakes. They need to improve their team play in order to win on the road and against playoff teams. I expect the team to be around 0.500 until the end of RS when the schedule gets more favorable.

I won't be surprised if PATFO makes a small but strategical move before the deadline. They want to win now as much as possible and this roster needs something else without Dejounte Murray.

Agree. I think we could’ve won 2-3 more games with a healthy squad tbh

Funny how KD’s hands to himself says that he doesn’t want any part of these guys.

And the Pelicans.. And the Rockets probably aren't a true sub .500 team, tho they definitely regressed. They had their 2 main guys, and I'm pretty sure they have a +.500 record when they play

I can live with this. I thought there was a small chance of a lottery season, even before we lost Murray and other guards started dropping like flies... My hopes involve player development (White, Walker, ?Poetl?, ?Metu?), and lottery balls.

Some of you haven't been fans very long. Back in the day, 10-12 years ago, the Spurs used to turn over 5-6 players per year, and there was always an adjustment period to learn each other's games. That's the reason that EHJ invented SPAM. The team hovered a little bit over .500, and then took off after the RRT.

If you're watching the standings now, you're doing it wrong.

Will be interesting to see what happens when walker gets back. Hopefully pop gives him minutes because he is much needed out there. White has already made a very positive impact. The team looks much better with him back

I just hope Pop doesn't do him like he did White and redshirt/G-League him, to help him get over himself because this team needs all the young talent it can get.

Are prime Duncan, Parker and Manu coming back after the RRT too? Like I get what you're saying but the constants (those three) are too different (if you consider LaMarcus, DeMar and Gay as our big 3). The only constant is Pop and he's still stuck in the past with the way this roster is constructed.

Those teams had a switch which they turned on during the RRT.

The point is that it takes time to get everyone on the same page. No, T,T,&M are not coming back. That does not mean this team won't have a big kick after the ASB.
