I asked you. Where is your proof about the Uranium?
In 2010, Rosatom, the Russian nuclear energy agency, bought a controlling interest in Uranium One, a Canadian-based company that owned valuable extraction rights in Kazakhstan, Canada and Australia. These three countries are the world’s largest uranium producers, and Russia’s acquisition of those rights served its ambitions to build and fuel nuclear power plants around the world. (Russia friendly opinion of usage for that uranium)

In an ancillary part of the deal, Rosatom also bought mining rights in the United States, where uranium production is sparse. These rights were initially estimated to represent 20 percent of American production, but in practice, this figure has averaged less than 10 percent. Overall, Rosatom’s purchase of Uranium One transferred control of what now amounts to about 8 percent of world uranium output. The American portion represented about one-thirtieth of the deal.

    NYT

Now run along and find opinion journalism that attempts to qualify and neutralize the facts as passive.

    all outrage is selective outrage.

the person who exhibits appropriate outrage for all outrageous occurrences does not exist.

‘A clear red line’: NYU law professor explains why it’s unacceptable for Trump’s acting AG to oversee Russia probe

Ryan Goodman, a professor at the New York University School of Law, has written a scathing analysis of President Donald Trump’s decision to tap loyalist Matt Whitaker to be his acting attorney general.

Writing at Just Security, Goodman says that

Whitaker’s role as an unofficial Trump campaign adviser,

as well as his regular recent contacts with grand jury witness Sam Clovis,

are a “clear red line” that should force him to recuse himself from overseeing the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“Alongside Paul Manafort, Clovis served as co-chairman of the Trump Campaign.

Clovis also assembled the campaign’s national security group headed by Jeff Sessions, and

reportedly was involved in bringing on board George Papadopoulos and Carter Page.

Depending on what information Clovis shared with Whitaker in using him as a sounding board,

Whitaker might be best described as a campaign insider.”

    Goodman then details how

Clovis was a key figure who encouraged Papadopoulos to make contacts with Russian officials who were offering potential assistance to the Trump campaign.

“Clovis reportedly advised Whitaker on how to get a job in the Trump administration,

a strategy that involved Whitaker going on national television and disputing allegations of collusion and the legitimacy of the Russia probe.”
