That from the movie Black Snake Moan which is the le of a blues classic by Texan Blind Lemon Jefferson in 1926. Jackson does play the tune but he goes off into something a little different that the original.

Both Eric Clapton and Peter Green have put out CD;s where they pay homage to the great Robert Johnson.
Taj Mahal, John Hammond, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Winter, Keb Mo, Muddy Waters, Lucinda Williams, Robert Palmer, and on and on and on and.... have covered the songs of Robert Johnson.
JoAnn Kelly the queen of British blues also does a great cover of Come Into My Kitchen. As does Johnny Winter.

Bob Marley is into Reggae...ok? You just don't expect him to go off of that with a tune like "I Shot The Sheriff". It's not his norm, so...Who would have thunk it?
I own most of both guys stuff, have read up on both, have stuff back from when both were starting out. There is no way I'm not aware of the history behind Who Shot the Sheriff.
It isn't real obvious I'm deeply into music? My music library is immense, everything is there. Ever heard of Stickhorse Hammond, The Ivory King, Blackboy Shines, Sloppy Henry? Big Band, jazz, blues, hillbillie, gospel, funk, soul, etc etc etc etc....it's al there. How in the is anyone that deep into music not going to know about Bob Marley and Eric Clapton? , I have stuff by Marley as a kid in a group with Peter Tosh.
Always funny how people act, they try so hard to find something wrong. Why not just relax and pick up a few things you weren't aware of, I do.
I once listed every NFL teams 1000 yard rushers, what school they went to, a huge undertaking. Guy comes on....you spelled....
