Lakers could actually be nice if they didn't force-feed Ingram just to justify his draft positioning he's so bad..
I ing hate it when he goes iso mode

I like Ingram but he's also on the last year of his rookie contract and he hasn't done enough to get paid. Paying a young player based on potential/ceiling is a huge gamble.

Lonzo's shot just looks like it's beyond repair and Rondo is Rondo. Having a PG rotation that can't shoot in today's NBA is stepping on the court with a handicap.

I know most of the damage was done during the Jim Buss/Mitch years, but how do you manage to draft solid role players and fail so miserably at drafting inside the top 10?
imo the only mistake that was made was drafting Lonzo over Tatum

still , Lonzo shows signs of having a Kidd-like career.

Ingram is no star in my eyes but when you look back at that draft there just wasnt really any better talent to select.. same with the D’angelo clas

I think Porzingis was available in the D’Angelo draft but he turned out better than ppl expected

pretty sure the Randle class was horrible

Porzy was but I called his injury. Told everyone on here and got clowned that dudes his height are susceptible to lower body injuries...
Only great thing about drafting KP is maybe Lakers would have traded him for a drat before he is knee exploded. I doubt he ever becomes what he should that was a one star draft...

Pretty good observation there, Harlem. He always tries his to play above his skill level.

Sadly I have more faith at this moment with Zo than I do with BI. Dont get me wrong...BI has some moments. He easily looked like the 2nd best player out there pre-season and I know Lebron playing side by side has destroyed his game.

But he has an incredibly low offensive IQ. That game could have been in trouble when he took a way too early 3 pointer with 2:30 or whatever the time was left with the Blazers only down by 10.

weird thing about lonzo is he cant shoot mid range jumpers and finish at the rim when challenged by a defender but he’s pretty solid beyond the arc, especially coming off a screen or during catch and shoot situations.

lonzo has 3 ways to score. 3 pt line, via lobs and finishing a break with no defenders in front or behind him. reminds me of corey brewer during his rookie year.

The good news is he can sometimes make 3s. The bad news is like you said, he cant make mid rangers or a play against a defender in the post to save his life. These games would be WAY easier if we had a decent PG.

yeah. i was thinking how awesome out second unit would be if we still have lou in that second unit. there are times where rondo simply stagnates the offense.
