Idk if he makes top10 but Pau Gasol has been responsible for a couple of thousand points by not contesting anybody in perimeter
I'm surprised poodle didn't even make the list.

Parker and Kerr not being in the top 10 makes this list irrelevant
Jeff Errors. Dude was a total dip . Matt was a traffic cone but he at least slowed the break on defense by being slow in transition.
Some here think Spurs history is ~1999
But he is the Ibaka stopper as well
Mike Miller scored on Gary Neal missing a shoe in a Finals game. He deserves #1.
THIS. The overrating of this er here continues to be mind-boggling, tbh.
Which is one of the reasons I brought up Del Negro, Chuck Person and Jack Haley.
Parker wasn't that a bad a defender when he was younger, tbh. In the latter stage of his career, definitely an atrocious defender, though.
He’s always been bad. Playing with Bowen and Duncan makes it easier to hide you
The only Chap/Spur with career negative defensive WS:
Leon Wood

Anyone saying matt bonner getting raped by that grizz front court as decent is straight re ed.He was good at standing upright and keeping his hands straight up in the air though.

I agree, most if not all figured that out already. Teams are just giving the ball to whomever Mills is guarding.
After Person took his bumpy flight and put on all that weight I don't remember him being that bad in the post against PFs. The big ass kind of helped.
vs Grizz that yr came to mind. Bonner a very underrated tough defender. Ask z-bo. Didn’t he cause problems for Obama a few times? Always underestimated.
Why don't you dig up some more Paddy Mills-Tony Parker comparisons. I'm in the mood for a good laugh Mohawk.
He was an average to slightly above average defender in his prime.
Forbes outdoes himself considering his physical tools he has to work with. In a somewhat short sample size, I’d say Novak was the absolute worst. He had 0 basketball skills outside of a 3 point shot. Bonner played some decent D against Howard that one round![]()
